Good food, have had good service inside. Be fully prepared before calling to place a to go order. The person taking orders will hang up on you (multiple times) if you have any questions or additions. I intend to apologize for my patronage when picking up my order. Perhaps they will let me come back. ;)
I love that they offer so many different fajitas! Not just your basic steak, shrimp, or chicken! Fajitas Alambre was so good and different. Their Margaritas are on point too.
If I had to eat taco bell for a week it would be better than ever having anything from this place again. The tacos were not made with the correct fillings they didn't use the correct shell for said tacos. The beans and Mexican rice were cold and bland. The so called salad was a tiny bit of iceberg lettuce and microscopic amount of tomato. Overall this was the most lack luster disappointing meal I've had in a very long time. If you are considering this place I hope you read this and stay far far away. And if you work or own this place I hope you see this and DO BETTER!
Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. I had the poblano relleno and wasn't impressed. The chicken in it was dry and there was no cheese in it. I figure that's not a big seller there...
We’ve eaten here for a long while now. It’s one of the few places that carries a street taco box. Well, tonight was it for me. After giving my food to the wrong GrubHub driver, they refused to remake it unless we paid for it again. We exchanged words and I hung up on him. Half the time our order isn’t even right but we deal with it. We are so very disappointed in La Mesa. If you’re going to refuse to make it right because you or GrubHub screwed it up, then you need to take out the third party delivery drivers. This is NOT the first time it has happened but I promise you it’s the last!!

I placed a to go order and asked the person taking my order to call it back to me, to confirm she had the order correct. She did. The order was picked up in 15 min as requested however, once we got the food home we quickly realized part of the order was missing and the food was cold even though the restaurant is 5 min from my house. And to top it off, the food was bland.
