I hate to be this person, but every time I order from La Huerta to go, my order is always wrong. If I am there, I point it out and they have always corrected it. It’s my understanding that door dash drivers cannot open bags, so they have no way to check. I ordered through door dash today and they had forgotten some things again. It’s disappointing because the food that I do get tastes great.
We were going to Bricktown brewery. Changed our mind when we saw lot of cars in the parking lot. It was an excellent choice. Great staff, home made tortilla, and good food. I ordered Sunday special terlapilla, in the middle of the meal. The wait staff brought another plate of terlapilla, he said the one on my plate is too small so they cooked a large fish for me. Definitely shout out to the world.
Had the lunch chicken fajitas and they were both plentiful and delicious. Flour tortillas were amazing. $8.99 what a deal. Salsa and chips were also good.
When I eat out, especially Mexican, I've been running servers ragged with my sweet tea consumption.. my glass didn't stay empty for more than 60 seconds.. and they were slammed even. Good food, nice atmosphere.. two thumbs up
Our favorite Mexican food place. Go on a Tuesday after 3. $2 Margaritas and they are delicious and strong. $1 regular beef or chicken tacos and $1.50 street tacos. After we eat all this and chips and salsa, we are stuffed! And it's delicious!
Have eaten here many many times it has always been amazing. However had a little bit of an issue with our order today... the manager called promptly. I do appreciate HIS effort. I realize that it is not fair to leave a bad review after 1 bad experience of many.
They were out of horchata. There were 3 of us in a group, my meal came 10 minutes prior to the others and was incorrect. Rarely saw the waiter. Other LA Huerta locations in town are much better.
I had dinner at LH tonight and was levied a surcharge for paying with my credit card.Upon asking, I was pointed to a door sign that says “Customers paying with cash will be given a 3.25 % incentive” (see picture) Nowhere did it say, that a surcharge applied for credit card payments. On clarification, I was literally scorned for not exercising “common sense” to figure this out.La Huerta is covertly passing merchant fees over to the customer. Proper consumer disclosure mandates, credit card surcharge for purchases, be clearly displayed at the front entrance. The clerk must also inform the customer of additional fees before processing the transaction. I hope the BBB or The Chamber of Commerce takes note of this ongoing practice.Additionally the restaurant has hired staff that are utterly unprofessional, untrained and downright rude. This is not the La Huerta I know.
Called to ask how much something was so that I could send my kid with enough money. The person answering the phone unprofessionally said I don’t know around 10 bucks. I asked is that with tax she said I don’t know I’m not checking prices right now. I guess she didn’t want my money. Your employees should be knowledgeable about prices or tell the customer to hold on 1 second while I find out. Don’t ever tell potential customers your not checking prices. That you don’t value their business. I come here once a week. There have been other issues but this is the last straw. The other is when my office orders to go. We have 2,3,4 orders and are only allowed to have 1 chips and salsa to share. We had to start places separate orders so that everybody could have their own chips and salsa. When we complained she basically said even though you just spent 50 dollars it’s a privilege that we even through one in for you. I guess you could say this isn’t much to complain about but when you give a business your time and money and this is how you are treated. Kinda makes you mad enough to leave a review.
This place is a go-to when I’m in town. The Steven Special is popular with my family, but I branch out a little more. Burrito California is good.
