Had high expectations when I had first walked into the door, the servers were kind but that still doesn't make up for the poor seating. We were seated in a tiny area, which was packed with noisy children and what appeared to be people who weren't dressed as fancy as the other customers. When it was time for us to pay our server practically disappeared and we had to go to the front to try and pay. Will not be returning here. The rice was tough and the steak pieces were rubbery and bland. The only thing enjoyable was the soups.
Miso Soup, Edamame and salad started us off. We both ordered off lunch menu and it was amazing. Everything was prepared properly and delivery to our table was pretty quick. We did go when they opened so we could get home still early. Hibachi grill looked like another visit for dinner.
The sushi is always delicious and the hibachi chefs make it a great experience!
It was Mother’s Day - it was very busy yet there was only ONE bartender - Brittany - who did the best she could considering. And during my visit I learned Jessica saved the life of a woman that was choking.I was very impressed by most of the staff. But management needs to take note.I ordered the $14 chicken fried rice and there were no peas, no carrots, very little fried egg - so I basically paid for rice and some chicken cooked in a wok.
Food was good but the menu was confusing. We ordered traditional meals and got charged more then what the menu said. Our chef was fun. Not sure we will come back anytime soon.
nice place for a celebrationgood foodgood serviceour favorite restaurant
Walked in 3 minutes before opening and Hazel said: Sir, we're having a meeting, come back in a few minutes. No "Hello" or "I'm sorry" - and if they didn't want people to walk in, they should lock the door till ready for customers. Next Hazel took us to a Hibachi and placed us facing the wall - I picked up our menu and silverware and moved around to a better spot - she said - (again, with an attitude) "If we have to get a large group to seat together I'm gonna have to move you" - ya know . . . it wasn't really what she had to say both times but the way she said it - this girl needs training in manners. We walked out. Hasta, lots of other places to eat in Fort Smith - we went directly to lunch with the nicest waiters and staff at Olive Garden . . . . we won't be back to Fuji's - I don't need that snitty little attitude.
Sushi is by far the worst I have ever had. Specialty rolls were not made correctly. Too much rice, very sloppy, loose rolls. Miso soup was good. I would stick to other menu items, hopefully they are better.
The sushi is the best in the area. Our kids (and my husband) love the hibachi grill.
First time eating here and it was wonderful. The whole experience was awesome watching them cook it in front of you. My friend and I shared a meal and it was plenty enough for the both of us and still had alot to take home. I will definitely be eating there again. All the staff were very perfersonal and nice.
