I love Fish City! We go every week and recommend it to everyone. Great food and great people
Lunch time was upon me and my stomach was ready for some good food. I was interested in trying a new place and the Google reviews on Fish City looked great so I headed that way.The restaurant was deserted for lunch so me and my Dad had the place to ourselves. After being seated our waitress went over the menu and her recommendations since we were new to the restaurant. Stevie (our waitress) was extraordinarily hospitable catering to our every need with a smile and great attitude from start to finish. I want to throw a big thanks her way for the great service! As for the food... It was prefect! I decided to go with the Fish "Tacos" & Black Beans and Rice (more like a burrito cut in half) but, that should not deter you from trying it. The whole meal was absolutely delicious and way more filing than I had expected. My Dad had the Crab and Shrimp stuffed flounder with Clam Chowder Soup. He enjoyed every bite, and was really quite impressed with quality of the chowder in particular.Overall, this was a great place to sit down and have a bite to eat. It was a clean, friendly and delicious . I highly recommend you make the trip over here to fill up! If you get Stevie as your waitress that will be the cherry on top!
So I'm giving 4 instead of five because I originally ordered the cedar plank salmon but was unfortunately wasn't that great. Which upset me because was really craving salmon. To me salmon is supposed to have a almost juicy melt in your mouth feel. Was just over done and not the right freshness to me. Wait staff was very friendly and asked if i wanted them to remake it but i declined. I switched to the striped bass it was herb crusted was delicious. Sides was buttermilk potatoes and char boiled asparagus. Potatoes was creamy but asparagus was on the crunchy side I like a like more well done but all and all was delicious. I would consider going back just to try another dish. The live band was a nice touch to my dinner.
Food is amazing. Staff was great too. Our waitress was always helping out. The hostess was not wearing the best pants for public. They gave me a free father's day gift too. Totally recommend this place!
Wonderfully cooked seafood every time! Closest to the east coast that we have found in AR!
some of the best Cajun food that I have eaten in Arkansas. and the manager Anthony is a fantastic guy to get to know.
OMG this the most amazing restaurant ever! We are good snob and I cannot recommend this restaurant home Guly enough! Anthony the manager has the best customer relations skills ever and our server Brock was awesome. Definitely eat here!
Stayed at hotel across the street. Saw reviews were good, and to save a drive walked. We enjoy being served at the bar and so glad we did. Bartender/server Nichole Jackson, though very busy was 5 star in getting to know us, make suggestions, take our order, and in general make us feel like old repeat customers despite the fact we were just passing through for a one off visit. As first timers we were offered a free sampler of their soups. All of them, so ..so tasty. I ordered spicy shrimp for appetizer. Amazing. My wife had the salmon, I had bacon wrapped scallops. All incredible. A nice selection of beers and tasty mixed drinks. We even splurged for desserts including bread pudding and key lime. Large portions and we took most of those back with us. Again tasty. If you must have beef, go elsewhere as none is on the menu, but the seafood selections are so delicious. The prices are reasonable for the level of food and service, but throw in starters, drinks and dessert, the bill will easily hit $100 for 2. But avoid the extras, and limit it to one drink each. . Half of that. We loved it.
Fried pickles were probably some of the best I’ve ever had. The fried shrimp and oysters were also very good. The fried catfish however was just a little to fishy for me personally. Would definitely return but would get something other than catfish.
I had the Honey Chipotle Shrimp Tacos with black beans and rice and thought they were very good. They also had a good draft beer selection, with the Space Goose hazy IPA from Bentonville Brewing being my favorite. Also, it was conveniently located almost across the street from my hotel.
