Holy cow, this place is AMAZING! ?? My husband and I went here for the first time just about a month ago, and I'm still salty about not discovering it sooner. ?I thought I knew what my favorite mexican restaurant was, but this place blows them all out of the water. The food is to die for, the staff is extremely friendly and the service is impeccable. My husband and I loved it so much, we went back a few days later and took our kiddos. I will never go to another mexican restaurant here again. This place is my #1 go-to from now on. ❤
We’ve been to el zarape a few times. We did a to go order today. Immediately started feeding my kids only to realize the rice and beans we ordered were cold. Like, not even a little bit warm. Disappointing. I just took a bit of my sopes. Cold. All of our food is cold. And I sat in the restaurant for at least ten minutes waiting for my food. Definitely expecting it to be right from the kitchen and hot when I got it. Waste of money…
Visiting town for Easter weekend and this place appeared on the side of the road. Wanting a margarita, we figured we'd give it a shot. So happy we did. Service was impressive, food amazing, drinks even better. Highly recommend.

The quality of food and service has dropped extremely in the last few months. Not sure what happened to this place it used to be my favorite. Servers needed to be reminded multiple times to bring us our tortillas, it wasn’t a busy night. Then I’m not sure if it’s due to which cook is working, but it seems recipes have changed for items such as the Mexican rice, most notably. Gross.
Very nice restaurant. Very clean. Wonderful food. The staff was nice and prompt. It was nice and warm in the dining room. Clean and nice bathroom. Music was a little to loud but we will be back.
The food isn’t quite as good as it used to be, wasn’t bad though and the wait staff is friendly as always.
This place is great!!! Margaritas ? are great, avocado ? dip was awesome, good host!!! Can't wait to try the meal, we just went for a cocktail &appetizers ?
