Service was decent, food was alright. Wasn't as I have expected. Omlette was under expectations. Although food came out in a decent manner but the texture and the quality was still off for the service and pay.

Delicious comfort food and friendly staff. We wanted local flavor and trusted the reviews. It was worth the visit. Try the fried mushrooms!

Good food and service and reasonable prices

Our waitress Sydnay was wonderful. Food was delicious! Look forward to dropping by again on our next trip through!

The best fried catfish I have ever had! Loved the cinnamon rolls and hush puppies also! The service was fantastic. The food came out fast and our drinks were never empty. Nicely decorated atmosphere! We were in town from Texas but we will definitely come visit here again next time we are passing through. Loved it!!!

Excellent service, food was amazing! Had appetizer of fried green tomatoes! Pork chop with 2 sides. Food was great and plentiful! Highly recommend

The atmosphere was nice, food was great, but our waitress Cindy was awesome. she was very sweet. Our glasses were always full. Made us feel welcomed.

A friend suggested that my wife and I eat at Calico County while visiting Fort Smith. The restaurant did not disappoint. The restaurant serves cinnamon rolls prior to the arrival of your food and while they were good, they weren't the best I've ever had. My wife and I both had Chicken and Dumplings. They were served with an equal amount of chicken and homemade dumplings and a roll on the side. All of it tasted great.

There just isn’t anything negative that I can honestly say about this place. The food is fantastic if it pleases your buds. Throughout the years the staff has been all in all friendly. In 30 years of dining here I cannot personally recall any issue with service or food quality, which is rare. To say the least. Not only Am I nominating them for the 2022 golden “wrap around” award, (sarcasm.) but I must make note of the underlined determination and perseverance of the crew and employees. In order for you to follow that statement you would have to understand that several years ago, this restaurant could’ve very easily closed its doors for good after a devastating fire.I can’t claim to know the story, but I have to attribute some of it to the community and our overwhelming love for a deep fried plate southern deliciousness.I will say they do have healthy options, some of which are disguised as healthy options, take the chef salad for example it’s so loaded with extras, egg, meat, cheese, croutons, etc, It’s the most misrepresented partnering with the word salad since it was initially seen back with the word taco in the early 90s.Nonetheless it’s hard not to indulge from time to time be at country fried steak, deep fried corn on the cob, fried okra, macaroni and cheese, etc. The list really is infinite,* And they are constantly advertising specials as well.Don’t forget to save room for a local calico staple, the cinnamon roll. Not to be confused with a sticky bun. I just wanted to make that clear. If you find yourself hungry and you’re looking for fair portions, fair prices, and great tasting southern food with a family friendly environment, then calico county should definitely be near the top of your list.*list is not actually infinite.

First time there. First impression was it was fast friendly service, clean, & attentive staff. Husband got the hearty breakfast. I got the French toast both were delicious, however I personally would only order the French toast as a dessert item from now on. So glad I ordered the coffee as it helped balance out the sweetness of my meal. We are already planning our next visit for lunch or dinner ?
