This place has the best chicken salad sandwiches on cranberry bread! It’s a great local restaurant with local owners making great food! We buy the loaves of bread and container of chicken salad to bring home so we can make our own sandwiches for several lunches. We HIGHLY recommend The Bread Box!! BUY LOCAL
The bread is good but overpriced for a sandwich
Food was good, clean. Service was slow.
I had the most amazing sandwich from the Bread Box and more today! They aren’t kidding when they say the chicken salad on cranberry pecan bread is delicious! The service was fast and friendly, the quality amazing, and the price was unbelievable (especially for how great it was)! I highly recommend anyone support this local business at least weekly if not more!
Been eating here for years! Chicken salad the best ever! West Coast sandwich is a must try too.
Absolutely the best chicken salad in all of river valley and NWA. Tried multiple places trying to find one better but it doesn't exist. Lots of other delicious bread, sandwich and soup combos. Always leave happy and full!
Tim is the owner and he is so nice! Their food is so very good.

Thursday lunch. Passing multiple chain restaurants on a major street, we turned off and found The Bread Box amongst doctor's offices and other small businesses. Not worth the detour. Because the dining room is small and open (with unconventional furniture for a sandwich shop), you can clearly hear every conversation in the room. Not at all crowded. The menu was more like a diner than a unique bistro. For example, their signature chicken salad sandwich on cranberry bread was good, but most of the sides were basic vending machine chips. (Baked Lays anyone?) Add fruit. Given there is only one location, I'd also ditch the branded t-shirts touting the chicken salad. Service was reasonably attentive. Not worth a second visit.
