It was a great first time experience, I drove from California to Tennessee and I stopped at benson's grill to see what I was missing. And yes, it was a awesome experience. The service was fast and the food was fresh and tasty. I will definitely come back if I am in the area.

The biscuits and gravy are huge, delicious and hit the spot. If you are looking for a simple down home traditional American diner, this is your place. It ain't fancy and the food is simple but that is what makes it great.
Second time coming here . Fantastic customer service. We got two of the man size breakfast. The hash browns are exceptional! The food is fresh, great atmosphere. The parking lot is pretty easy to miss though, so keep and eye out.
We were on a road trip passing through Fort Smith looking for somewhere "different" to eat. Benson's popped up on Google and had a lot of good reviews so we decided stop in and give it a try. The staff was polite and friendly, they made us feel welcome from the moment we entered. The establishment itself had a very "waffle house" feel, only cleaner. Variety of menu options to please almost anyone, and the prices were more than reasonable. In our group, we ordered burgers, fries and several breakfast items. Everything was prepared well and any special requests had been accommodated. We were shocked at how fast they got out food prepared and out to our table.Google maps did take us through a couple backstreets to get us there, but the scenic route lead us back to a main road and a wonderful dining experience.
The hours listed on this site, trip advisor, says that Bensons grill is open till 11:59. We went in at 830 and was told immediately that " it'll be a 45 minute wait, I just cleaned the grill." So, not being from the area, we asked the cashier/ waitress (?) Where we could get a bite as we were traveling. Walker's drive in and we're so glad that bensons wouldn't serve us. Walker's is the bomb. Great friendly service and the food was awesome.
Lovely lil place and also great food....cant go wrong when places like this are around...wish there were more places that keep towns and city's with old school way values and food...will be back many more times before i leave...French toast and eggs for a late night munchies cravings hit the spot...comine here was a choice i know i wont be disappointed with
this was a call in order when I got there the waitress was rude my burger and buns were burnt. asked for veggies on the side and they just threw it on the burger

I really loved the diverse staff and customers. They had alot of regulars. Food was affordable and delicious.
