We had the most delicious meal last night and the service was excellent! This is an Austin, Tx. based restaurant and we are glad they are here in Fayetteville. The food is authentic Mexican with lots of choices. I had the Serranos Special with marinated chicken and steak with Sauteed vegetables and it was so flavorful. I make a lot of fresh salsa and theirs is yummy. Great food, good prices, and big servings. The margaritas are made with fresh juice not pre-mix and the beer is cold. Go have a meal at Serranos Mexican Grill on West MLK and enjoy!
!!!!WARNING!!!!!DO NOT EAT HERE!!! My friends came up from out of town so we chose to have Mexican and margs. *this was all of our first time here* First they were taking forever (which trying to be understanding considering a lot of places are, due to short staff) They finally took our drink order and when they came out everything was fine until one of my friends had a bug in their drink. Proceeding on someone comes to take our order. He couldn’t understand us very well, this resulted in another waiter coming up later and re-asking what we had but little did we know he needed our WHOLE order again which we discovered when the food came out. As I was eating mine there were some long black questioning pieces in my food. I just put them to the side assuming they were seasoning. My other friend was eating and next thing you know she pulls what looks like a hard black grape vine stem from her bite she just took. When we pointed it out the waiter went to the kitchen came out and said it was “seasoning” I’m sorry but no that could NOT be seasoning. Rewind to today I was looking at my bank account and me and one of my other friends only spent about $14 a piece. THEY TOOK $20 out of my account and $30OUT OF HERS!!!!!!!!!! I wish we would have kept the receipts but this is UNACCEPTABLE. Someone needs to inspect there place of business asap.
Food was great, not bad at all.Most people will like this place.Staff was friendly and prompt.My issue was the noise, inside and out.The traffic noise was bad that night(sirens and such)but inside ..oh my. I understand "festive" dinners, but wow...this place sounded like an over-enthusiastic sports bar.Not my cup of tea.I prefer something a lot more relaxed and quiet.That much noise and people increasingly talking over other noises is unsettling.
First time and last time visiting this place. Spicy tomato water for salsa and store bought chips. Entrees didn't make things better... Service was not attentive. It's cheap food, but so is Gabriela's 5 minutes further down MLK. Next time I'll just keep driving.
Loooove this place, cheap, good quality, I always have leftovers. Their happy hour is like $3 for a huge a** margaritas. Only eh prob is it takes awhile to get ur check sometimes. But very delicious, everything topped in queso.
We usually hit another local Mexican place but we went with a big group and were pleasantly surprised! The food was good and cheaper than we expected. It was a super busy night so the service wasn't super fast but our waiter was there every chance he got making sure we didn't need anything. The only thing I can't get on board with is they have peas and corn in their rice.
We love the food and the prices aren't bad either! You get lots of food. Very friendly people, keep up the good work!
If you’re looking for delicious food and great service, look no further. I booked a table for 20 to surprise my boyfriend for his birthday. I arrived 15 minutes early to ensure things were on track and our table was already set. Within minutes on me arriving, our lovely waiter had salsa and chips on each table. We had this single waiter for our entire table and no drink went empty nor a single order was made wrong. The food was delicious, wonderfully priced, and the servings were massive. Highly recommend!
This restaurant is in my family's top 5 list of best restaurants in the NW Arkansas area. Conveniently located in Fayetteville Arkansas off west MLK Blvd they are top notch for Mexican food. I fully recommend anyone who enjoys Mexican cuisine to stop in and enjoy the mouth watering food they prepare. Serranos is #2 on our list as being the best restaurant in our area.
We had dinner here very recently. The place was cold and drafty. When it was convenient for them, the staff didn't speak much English!!! The margaritas were very disappointing - very weak. We think they were pre-mixed. However after all that the food was good!
