Schlotzsky's serve really tasty fresh sandwiches with a variety to choose from. There soups are also good. Be prepared to spend a nominal amount for the food however, especially if you add on chips and drink. They do make a giant size sandwich for around $15 that's enough for 2 meals, which is a good deal for stretching your dining dollar.
Takes me back to the summer of 1978 and traveling thru the area on Hwy 71 on my first trip to Dallas and fell in love with this area ! I ended up living in Dallas until 2000 but it was that summer that I fell in love with Schlotzsky's and after leaving Dallas I went without for 17 years, except on an occasional trip south ! So after moving here in 2017 I was pleasantly surprised to learn we had one here !!! I am ecstatic and the owner knows it !! Such a unique tasting sandwich that just satisfies my buds :) Keep up the great taste and send coopons please !!!
The calzone French dip I got was nothing like the advertised picture. It was 75% bread and 25% gross meat. The music was so loud we couldn’t carry on a conversation. I love schlotzskys but definitely they missed the mark on this!!
Ordered the California chicken flatbread got 10 miles away to my house to eat it and there was no chicken. Waited 30 minutes for my order had to drive another round trip 20 miles to get it replaced for the correct meal I initially ordered asked for a Cinnabon for the hassle and was told I could get a refund or keep the replacement food. The same manager gave two people free food while I waited the first time for the wait alone. Gas is too high for people to mess to on a simple order and not be willing to compensate for the work places problems. Waste or money, gas and time all together.
Ordered a sandwich through the drive-thru which I don't normally do. Was halfway home before opening the sandwich. A sandwich which does not even include mustard was covered in it and I most certainly did not ask to have it added.......it ruined my lunch!
Went in tonight for the first time in a while, went through drive-thru and Billy, took our order. He was on point with the customer service and conveyed a great personality over the speaker. More places could use employees with this level of customer service. Thanks for s great drive-thru experience Billy.
I ordered from this establishment this evening specifically to get baked potato soup for my sick daughter (it’s the only kind she likes.) I called twice ahead of placing my order to confirm they had the soup. I picked up my Togo order and asked the woman if the bag contained them and was told yes. When I drove home (20 minutes away) I did not have the soups. I called them to see what could be done. They offered nothing. I told them that I could come back to town to get it. They refused since I was coming from 20 minutes away, it would’ve been 5 minutes after they close. Apparently they walk out the door the second they close. The guy was rude and unhelpful and I was hung up on me. Instead of caring that it was their mistake they wouldn’t wait 5 minutes past 9 for me to get there. I wasted $20 on three bowls of soup I did not get, was hung up on, and offered nothing to make it right. Worst experience ever.

I asked the cashier if the soups were in there to which she said yes. Got back to Elkins, no soups. When I called them nothing was done to make it right. I even offered to drive back to town to get them. They refused since I would’ve arrived 5 minutes after they close. I was even deliberately hung up on, and never even apologized to. Terrible experience. $20 gone. Since I run a restaurant, the lack of effort or care infuriates me.
Service was great with a low staff, clean dining and super friendly staff. Great sandwiches
I got a pretty mid pizza here. Honestly it was good for a schlotzkys though. If you like that kinda thing this is a great place for you
