I can give TripAdvisor some credit when this site has pictures made by customers before I could even check out the restaurant's website. If a place like Renzo's has good tomato sauce shown in the pictures, then that's enough to convince me to go in. So, on my recent trip to Fayetteville, that was exactly what I did. I even got to meet the owner of this place, and he was especially kind and gracious. Once seated, I ordered some house salad with ranch dressing that was absolutely delicious, along with some magniferous garlic bread. But the real show-stealer was their lasagna, and I got that meat sauce with chunks of tomato. Man, that was seasoned so well! Loved every bite. Included in the plate were some bits of Italian sausage, as their meatballs were still cooking and I didn't have time to wait for them to get done. You can bet that, when I come back here on my next visit, I will order those meatballs. This will become my go-to in NW Arkansas if I need a pizza fix or some great lasagna. And it also helps that I can echo the sentiment of other commenters saying this is a hidden gem. Folks, this definitely is. Come try this place. The tomato sauce alone will win you over!
It is located in a strip mall and at first I thought "oh no" but we went ahead and went in and it was very nice. The staff are pleasant and attentive. I ordered the shrimp scampi and it was delicious. We're visiting from out of state and have visited there twice.
Went here and had a lovely time for my daughter’s birthday. The pasta I got was very flavorful and authentic. Certainly beats the Olive Garden
The waiter and service was great. The cook not so much. Cooking seafood has to be practiced. The cook left ny calamari down way too long as well as the toated ravioli. The waiter made it up to us by discounting and git me another order asap.
Absolutely unexpected amazing experienceI was in the area and decided to try something new for date night the outside appearance had me wondering if I had come to the correct location seeing it was attached to a dollar general but I decided not to judge a book by its cover and went insideIt was rather busy but a few tables were available we had no wait at all to be seated the staff was very friendly and informative about the menu items even recommending a few things everything I had ordered there was absolutely amazing so much flavor I just couldn't stop wanting more even the glass of wine I ordered was so good the price was as to be expected at a place like this will go again
Hidden gem! Best chicken Alfredo sauce ever! Amazing food and very nice staff. A perfect stop in the middle of town near campus, but away from traffic and plenty of parking. Looking forward to returning.
We really enjoyed our dinner here! Our waitress was Sarah and she did a really great job. She made sure our drinks were always filled and had ohr food to us quickly, even though it was very busy. We ordered the fried cheese ravioli for an appetizer which was delicious. Then for our meal we had the primavera irene with the lemon creme sauce and it was very good. They have a lot of vegetarian options too which is always great to see. For dessert we got the classic cheesecake which is always so delicious. I highly recommend coming here for a more casual dining experience.
What a great find. This restaurant is in a strip mall and makes you second guess trying it. But as soon as you enter you immediately know it is going to be good. We had a variety things. Fried ravioli, salads and soup, pasta with Rosa sauce and steak. It all was incredible. Homemade food done the right way. I highly recommend this place…
Don’t let the location fool you. It’s near the U of Ark in an old strip mall. There is a consistency in the quality of the food. The traditional Italian fare is superb. Try the portobello mushroom appetizers. There’s not much atmosphere but there’s a ton of good food value.
I love Renzo's. From eating there with the crew after a shift to taking my family. Great food. Great service.
