The best Mexican food!!! Must try!
Impressively upscale Mexican food in an suprisingly unassuming location. Service was great, food was both remarkably delicious and beautifully presented. Drinks were expensive, but of impressive quality, and included a few unique offerings. Park next to the building, not under the old gas-station awning; that's part of the "road" now, according to the painted arrows. Seriously, it's lovely inside, with loads of delicious things to eat and drink; absolutely worth your time.
The food, was hands down, the BEST Mexican food I’ve eaten in NWA. It was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was so cute and unique. It felt upscale, and casual all at the same time. They have an adorable patio and there was live music playing when I was there. The music was relaxing and really set the mood of the atmosphere. HOWEVER, the service was TERRIBLE. Our waitress didn’t check on us one time to see how we were doing, and she never ONCE refilled our waters. I ran out of water half way through my meal and never once received more water. We were at this restaurant for almost two hours, because the service was so slow. BUT, we got our food quickly, and the food makes it worth going back again. I just wish our service had been a bit better. We went in the middle of the week, it wasn’t incredibly busy, and there looked to be a good handle of employees working. So, I don’t know.I’ll definitely be back though. I’ll just plan to be there for a while.
Food and drinks were excellent! We had the Cochinita and Pastel Azteca. Both were very good. We cannot wait to go back to try more dishes. Highly recommend sitting on the patio when the weather is nice.
Nice little place there in Johnson, I had the stuffed avocados with chicken and cheese sauce on top, it vame with a small portion of salad greens that were tasty. The avocados were delicious, the chicken was tender and flavorful, the crust on the avocados was nice and crisp. Also came with rice and beans and they were very good as well. Service was great. They bring out glasses of ice water in really cool cups along with cold bottles of water for refills. Will definitely go back again!
As a suggestion from a former employee, I decided to surprise my girlfriend with a meal from here as she wanted Mexican. She usually enjoys meals from La Huerta, but I was informed that this place was close to her former employee's mom's cooking and encourage me to visit. I ordered a steak chimichanga for my girlfriend and she devoured it with no hesitation, so I can say with confidence that she love food from here better than La Huerta.
This restaurant has great atmosphere and attention to detail. All the seating, dishes and glasses were cute. Our pitcher of beer came with ice cold frosted glasses, and the food was awesome. We had the habanero enchiladas.
Pride in quality and presentation! I've enjoyed 4 meals here so far and each one was excellent. Today, I tried the Ceviche De Camaro and it was so fresh, interesting and light. Served with crackers, hot sauce (if you want it), and presented with sliced shrimp and avocado slices. It's a treat to eat here. Service was very good and I enjoy the little details I find in the decor. ?️
Everything I recommend everything, these guys are wonderful and the food and margaritas are the best in NWA, I have tried them all
Innovative margarita choices! This was our first visit and it wasn't a disappointment. Tasty dishes, generous portions and an attentive staff made it a great experience. We'll definitely take our friends there
