Absolutely terrible service. Never coming back. Me and my group came in at 7:30 and waited for 45 minutes just to order our food. After we ordered we waited over an hour to receive our food. 2 people didn’t even get their food. Not once did they ask how everything was. Then when we complained about our bad experience they blew us off some more and the manager was terribly rude. Never in my life will i ever come back to grubs in Fayetteville. Big thumbs down.
The staff here is lovely, they're all very friendly and attentive. I only had an appetizer so I can't really speak for the food much but their alcoholic beverages are pretty good.
if I could give this 0 stars I would. ordered 2 beer, sat here for 25 more minutes before the “bartender” ever asked if we needed anything. in the short time of being here, not only were my friend and I ignored, we saw a male (assuming employee) put two truly in his bag and walk out with another in his hand unopened. I can only assume it was the staff, everyone was walking behind the bar making their own drinks, off the clock. the bartender (emelia) referred another customer to jameson then when i ordered a shot, she all the sudden didn’t have any. the bartender could not have cared less that we were sitting there. this might work with a college crowd that has no experience but this is absolutely asinine to customers that understand the industry. focus more deeply on hiring and you won’t have these issues.
CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE YOU LEAVE WITH TAKEOUT. I have lived in Fayetteville for 6 years and grubs is honestly one of my favorite places. However, I get a lot of takeout from all over the city and I have NEVER had anywhere get my order wrong/forget something more than maybe 3 times, except grubs. I have only received about 20% of my orders correct. I have also never left a review in my entire life, but I am sitting here eating an incorrect order and just thought I have to leave a review this time because I honestly cannot remember the last time I got a correct order from them. It’s astounding. I do recommend the food, it’s incredible, one of the best places to eat dickson. Just check your orders before you leave the restaurant for goodness sake.
Pulling up to the restaurant, you're greeted with the feeling of genuine distraught. Window panes were broken, and the outer walls had no personality. Being seated at our booth, I saw food chunks in the window sill, the table was wet and dirty, and the menus seemed to have mold growing under the film. We ordered a sampler platter that had no flavor, and was entirely mediocre. Our waitress was nice though. And don't get me started on the bathrooms.
We went to Grubs after the Garth concert. They were moderately busy but still offered fast service. Great atmosphere with a relaxed feel.
Fun place with good bar food a block of Dickson St!
Went here and the waitress we had was very rude to us and was talking badly about our table because my husband took a chair from another table and she was taking horrible in front of us to the manager and other workers and the manager did nothing about it (BC he USED A CHAIR from another table!!!). She also took forever to take out order. Very inappropriate to show those emotions in front of customers and for a manager to allow that!!! Maybe go somewhere else to talk dirty about a customer not infront of them especially in your work environment and if you want a decent tip! Sad to see this young generation and how they are being taught how to work in a job industry! Kitchen did good on the food though that why it gets 3 stars. 1 star for the rude waitress.
Ordered Grubs for the first time ever (via Bite Squad). It appeared as if my order wasn’t being made so I called them to find out my orders status. They said their machine they use for 3rd party orders was dead and they were just turning it on. This would have delayed my order. Right after hanging up with Grubs, Bite Squad calls me and informs me they can’t get in contact with the restaurant and thus my order was canceled. I guess 3rd party orders aren’t a priority with Grubs and I will not be giving them my business in the future.
We ordered online and my wife paid with a credit card I go pick it up and the manager demand that I showed her the receipt I’m thinking why should I it should show if we paid or not I want ever go back their!!!
