I dined it and it was a very sweet experience! Don't expect the staff to work like a larger restaurant, there will be one or very sweet two girls who check on your table. The food there is so good! I've had people recommend the restaurant to me for a while and I am very very glad they did!P.s. try the artichoke dip, you won't be disappointed!
The restaurant is tucked into a small space with a few other shops, almost hidden from the rest of the world. But once you discover it, it's like opening the hidden treasure chest.I asked the server, a kind young woman named Hannah, what she would recommend. She didn't steer me wrong. The veggie pesto pizza was cooked to perfection, and the added chicken was just right. I could tell the ingredients were fresh, and everything was made meticulously to ensure I had the best experience. Even the tea tasted just-made, a rare feat in today's world. And Hannah made sure I had everything I needed. She was attentive and never left the dining floor without asking if I wanted something more.Overall, a wonderful experience. I plan on coming in the next time I'm in Fayetteville.
This place is a hidden treasure. Recommended by friends for their pizza, I tried the lasagna and my wife had a shrimp pasta. We also had an appetizer of spinach artichoke dip with garlic french bread. Everything was amazing. Highly recommend this place and look forward to trying their pizza next.
Super busy weekend with Garth Brooks concert tomorrow and somehow we got a reservation. Food and service was great. We visit our friends who live in Fayetteville and our daughter who is a JR at U of Ark and had a great fun evening. Great job! ??
I grew up in the Northeast US, where we had oodles of amazing, authentic Italians and their to-die-for Italian food. Geraldi's was, hands down, the best Italian food I've had since leaving the Northeast in the early 90's! The calzone was spot on with ricotta, mozzarella and my choice additions (mushrooms & onions), the tomato sauce had just the right zingy sweetness, the lasagna had the right texture and spices, the pizza needed two hands and its crust even had the requisite bubbles. And Andy, the owner, was thorough, friendly and enjoyable. Morgan, our server, was attentive and timely.I know there are a zillion great restaurants in Fayetteville, and I hope to try many of them while my kiddo is in school here, but whenever I visit I will be sure to pop by Geraldi's at least once, and so should you.(my mom couldn't resist "kissing the chef" rather than giving a "chef's kiss!")
I am local to Fayetteville and LOVE Geraldi’s. It’s an owner-operated, family-run, down-to-earth restaurant that is cozy inside and has awesome tasty food. Every time we visit, the staff is so kind and the food consistently great - whether you order pizza, pasta, calzones, salads… it’s all so good.I also appreciate the reasonable pricing for the generous portions. You can tell the owner wants to serve great food at realistic prices with great service. This is one of those local places you want to keep supporting and coming back to.
DO NOT PUT CASH IN THE TIP JAR!!Leave your tips at the table or hand them straight to the waitresses. The owner keeps the cash in the tip jar for himself. Totally unethical for him to keep the money meant for the staff.Have loved coming to this place for several years but knowing the owner keeps tips away from his staff makes me never want to come back.Food and service has always been great. The regular and spicy Alfredo’s are good. Stay away from the spaghetti and meatballs, it’s bland. Say yes to the spinach artichoke dip or mozzarella sticks to start. Garlic bread is also great.
This has been one of my favorite Italian places in town.... but I don't think I'll be going much anymore. I went today and while my entree was decently tasty, it was sopping with oil/butter from the alfredo sauce. The sauce/oil was already separating before I took a bite which wasn't very appealing. One thing I *loved* about Geralid's was that the entree comes with garlic bread.... unless you order an appetizer apparently? This wasn't communicated at all by the staff until asked if the menu had changed as I was checking out (and paying for garlic bread I never got). Prices have gone up, which is understandable with the pandemic, but I don't want to be paying for things I never recieved. I will still go on occasion I'm sure (the pizza bread is fantastic) but the past few times kept pushing me away and today was the last push I needed I suppose.
Always delicious. Always heaping portions. Our favorite NWA restaurant!
Pizza and salad was good. Chicken fettuccine and chicken geraldi sandwich was average. Waitress was friendly but extremely slow. Other waitresses were running circles around her, and since she didn’t come around very often, had to ask other waitressses about the food. She checked to see where she was and noticed she was standing around every time we checked as we were waiting on bread and refills. Other tables had their bread within 5-10 minutes from sitting down while ours took 45+ minutes, told her about it, then gave bread to another table that came in after us. Won’t be going back.
