First time there but not the last time. We enjoyed our visit from the ordering to the eating. The staff there were so kind. The combo burger was so yummy! I couldn’t finish my fries. I can’t wait to tell others to go there.
The best burger I’ve ever had! Friendly staff, clean building and amazing fresh food!!!!
First time here on recommendation from a friend who lives in Memphis and had been here.Service:TJ was working the grill and counter during the downtime around 2pm. He was a perfect example of friendly and informative service that sells the products well from fries to shakes and burger. I could see they are grinding up quality steak meat in back and things were fresh.Quality:Best burger I've had in the state. I may be a new resident but I've been to most of the state's areas in my life and love a good burger. Seasoned perfectly, cooked perfectly. Bun was fresh.Cleanliness:If TJ was less informative I'd have probably dripped this review by a star. There was a little bit of a mess on a few tables and some water on the counter by the drink machine. However had already told me he had worked until past midnight cleaning up a major mess following an accidentally discharged fire suppression system and was already working the grill and the register too so I have to give this a pass since I wasn't needing a table. I'm sure in normal conditions it is adequately staffed to keep the place tidier.OverallTJ taught me all I should know about the place and I appreciated his attitude given his hard effort and being clearly tired. Excellent employee.Burgers are top notch and deserve loyalty.
I’m honestly sad that CJs went from being one of our favorite NWA eat spots to a place we will probably never eat at again. They just can’t seem to cook their food right anymore. I sat in line for a full 35 minutes waiting on my burger and fries, only to get them an notice they fries were barely cooked…again (this is a reoccurring issue at CJs). So this time I decided to go inside and get the order right. Waited another 7min only to be sent home with a second sack of wet, UNDERCOOKED fries that were gross. Oh well at least their burgers are good, right? Well I open my burger to find that my double patty was just a bunch of loose ground beef on a completely wet and soggy bun that you couldn’t even pick up; it literally fell apart in my hand and there was no way to eat it. We ended up throwing the whole order in the trash. I’m legit sad about this because CJs was a stone cold favorite when we first moved up here, and there’s not another burger joint that meets those early days standards, but it’s been getting worse and worse and I guess today was my final straw as a repeat customer.
I personally have been to the Russellville location 3-5 times due to my occupation that has allowed me to travel with members of the UofA Athletic Department, but I had never been to this location until today. I'm not sure if it was due to the weather or time of day, but I was glad that the business wasn't crowded in order for my daughter's and I were able to enjoy our 1st visit. The burgers were so fresh and delicious that both will need a double whenever we visit again as they also devoured their fries along with the milkshakes that were requested. Even though there isn't much to offer here, I believe CJ's rivals DQ for them.
Got in a line of 3 cars at 7:10pm on 2/26/22 and by 7:37, only one car had moved and the person in front of me had been sitting at the speaker box to order for 15 minutes and had not ordered. At 7:37 I decided to go to slims right next door for a quicker meal. Now I’m driving away from slims, and I see the line still hasn’t moved. Usually a pretty good burger but if you don’t wanna wait 40 minutes, I wouldn’t recommend.
I love eating here. I went today and my burger was not as done as I eat it. I called and the the problem with no hesitation.. They make it right with a smile, will continue to go there for my freshly made burgers!!! Thanks!!
I love CJ's burgers. They are amazing. So why did I give them 2 stars? The wait. We just sat in the drive through line for 30 minutes and the only reason we moved up was because 4 cars in front of us left. The whole time we sat there I tried to order online and that was so frustrating that I was ready to chuck my phone out the window. They have a 3rd party app for online ordering and it took 20 of the 30 minutes to get signed up and then I couldn't find CJs on the app. Take online ordering off your website if you don't really offer it. We left CJs as I started typing this review and have driven across the street to Freddy's, ordered and we are 3rd in line for our food. CJ's, it's Saturday night in a college town. That kind of wait time will put you out of business. We have our Freddy's burgers now!
I like the taste when a greasy burger just sounds good. But they have gotten our order wrong 3 times and they put sauteed onions on the one I had today. It was not edible because it was the onion PEEL.
Staff happily greeted us when we came in. The food was fresh and made to order quickly. The burgers and fries were delicious and I can't compliment the staff enough on how friendly they were. The men from our church small group met and stayed for hour and a half just talking after eating. Great experience from start to finish. Folks working there thanked us for coming and said bye as we left. Excellent burgers!!!!
