Very nice and courteous staff, all areas that were visible to the customers had clean appearance(this includes the ladies restroom). I got the 2 meat plate with a mix of brisket and spicy sausage, and for the sides I got corn on the cob and potato salad, and of course the roll. The sausage was juicy but the brisket a little dry, the potato salad was delicious but the corn was over cooked. My mom got the chicken ceaser salad and the chicken while delicious was on the dry side as well. Portions were decent for the price, and they had a nice variety of BBQ sauce(6 in all) to choose from.
Pretty good bbq! The okra was the best restaurant okra I think I’ve ever had, the beans were just okay to me. The ribs were meaty, smoky, and tasty. The sliced brisket was subpar in my opinion, any time I get thinly sliced brisket I feel a shortcut has been taken. It had okay flavor but was dry, gray, and below average compared to what other restaurants are serving for brisket these days. I’d eat here again but skip the brisket.
I loved our visit to whole hog Cafe. I got the half rack of ribs with fries and fried okra. It was delicious. I really enjoyed their dry rub. I think my wife who got the same meal would have preferred the other. I would recommend their ribs.
Was here from Missouri with my family so we wanted some good BBQ. I got my two boys a full slab of ribs to share and they wouldn't even eat them because they were so dry and there was hardly any meat for them to eat. My boys are not picky. My 10 year old said it was luke earing beef jerky. Honestly the meat did look like it had been cooked a few days ago. My pulled pork was cold but I ate it anyway. The fact that we had no longer sat down and our food was ready had me wondering. This food wasn't fresh. Hate that I spent so much money and my kids left hungry because they couldn't eat there meat.
Went to the drive up. Ordered two pulled pork plates with yummy potato salad and brownies as side items. When I got home with the food, no brownies. I called and they were very apologetic and said , if I come back by, they will give me the brownies. I have eaten at Whole Hog for many years. Food and service is always great.
It wasn’t the best bbq I’ve had in Arkansas, granted I did not have their famous wings. They had amazing pulled chicken and biscuits but otherwise I found the food dry. Sauces #1/#3 were my favorites
I really liked it here! I would have given them a 5 stars but I asked for them to cook my okra well done they said they could not because it would violate health code.
Best BBQ I've had. Wonderful service and excellent food. WHC is the only place that I know of that uses pecan wood to smoke and boy does it make a difference. Looking for great tasting, quality BBQ? The Whole Hog Cafe is definitely worth checking out.
I had the pulled chicken barbecue...and it was excellent! Their sauces are right at the table so you can enjoy them all. Delicious!
Always super friendly and fast. Food is always on point. Great, classic BBQ.
