it was so nice the ppl was friendly the food was great?
The food was excellent, best I've had in Conway. From the calamari appetizer to the Tour of Italy entre. The best I've had anywhere. The chocolate canolli and the lemon cello desserts were wonderful. We will be back, probably tomorrow.
Great food, great atmosphere, wonderful staff
Very comfortable, quiet. Very friendly. I take my two sons here for our monthly dinner date and we love it. They have great food and there's always more than we can eat so we always have leftovers to bring home. It's not crazy expensive at all. And they have awesome desserts!
I came here yesterday with a couple of clients and our whole experience was superb. This is truly a hidden gem! We started with the Focaccia Bread and it was something worth coming back for. We then moved onto three seafood chef specialties that our Waiter recommended, all three were wonderful. Devin our server was great as well, professional and not over bearing. We will return!
Took extended family there to celebrate son's and grandson's birthday's. Told we had to wait for a table. I pointed out that the large table in the corner was not occupied. The greeter said they'd get it cleaned up right away. To their credit they did. We were seated, given menu's and ordered drinks -two kids drinks, two cokes and three waters. They arrived after about 5 minutes and we ordered an appetizer of Cheese sticks. We then ordered our main menu items. After waiting for almost an hour I spotted our waitress way over in the opposite corner of the restaurant. She was waiting on tables away from our area. I managed to stop her as she came out of the kitchen and asked her where our dinner order was. I mentioned that we'd been waiting for an hour and I was a bit concerned. She said they would get it started right away. At that point I asked for the manager. She said she was the manager. I was very surprised that someone who could not run the restaurant and get orders out to customers efficiently was left in charge of a busy restaurant. She said that they were busy doing carry outs. My response was what about the customers who've already been seated for the past hour. After getting nowhere with our birthday dinner, I said let's go and we left. I've eaten at good and bad restaurants all over the world and have never had a wait of over an hour because of the unprofessional attitude of a staff member. My family and I have eaten at this restaurant many times but we no longer patronize this restaurant when coming through Conway. Sometimes a waitress whether she's family or not doesn't know anything about managing or running a restaurant.
I’ve been to Verona several times. Here’s my review. For the food, I honestly don’t think it’s that amazing. It’s not anything special, in my opinion. Almost everything has the same flavor. I feel like I could make these dishes at home and it would taste just as good, if not better. On the plus side, there’s a very wide variety of things to choose from and they have a very good set of wine selections. For the service, it was good. The people seem very kind. We had a 4 year old that is very sassy and likes to do what she wants when she wants, and our hostess was very patient and caring towards her.For the interior and atmosphere, I love it. You walk in and you think you’re about to dine in a 5 star restaurant. The inside looks very elegant and put together. For value for money, I’d say it’s a pretty good deal. Not too costly. There’s not much else to say.I wouldn’t make a special trip strictly to get Verona.
We had the best experience at Verona’s this evening! The food was delicious! The portions were large! The service was amazing! Very child friendly atmosphere. Our waitress, Aubrey, took great care of us as well. We can’t wait to come back for more!
Worst service I’ve ever had I don’t like to complain about a restaurant but after two times with really bad service and bad food owner needs to know this
This was all around a horrible experience. We ordered to be picked up and when my husband got there to pick it up, they said they didn’t even have the order. They told him it would take 10-12 min to make it so he waited. While waiting, he ordered a Diet Coke. They then charged him for it which most people would comp but that’s not even a big deal either. They handed him our food without saying a word so he assumed they were going back for the rest of it and after waiting, had to find someone to ask if there was anything else. He got our food home and not only did we not get the extra Alfredo sauces that I ordered per person (which I was charged for each), our pasta was very dry. My alfredo was the worst I have ever eaten. It tasted like heavy whipping cream on noodles. No seasoning, parm or anything. Milk noodles are disgusting so I couldn’t even eat mine. My daughter’s pasta was very dry also. I’ve had bad experiences before but this was ridiculous and complete laziness. In the end, I spent almost 100 bucks on a dinner for my family on wife’s birthday, and she ended up eating bread dipped in a grocery store alfredo from a jar.
