This should really be a 3.5 star but I'll just round up. The food was only luke warm, kind of the opposite of the normal flaming hot plates at Mexican joints. The beans and rice are average. The tacos (2 asada and 1 campechanos) were ok but the meat was a bit dry.I also had a fish taco which was really good but light on the amount of fish. I was expecting the usual single fish filet but instead got small chopped chunks.Perhaps some of the other meat choices might be better and with their cheap prices I'd say it's worth a try if you haven't been there yet.

Had the tacos for lunch today with beans and rice. Super simple Mexican food and it was delicious. I had the asada and carnitas tacos. Will be going again and would recommend to others.
Best dang Mexican food in arkansas PERIOD. If it weren’t for this restaurant I would be booking a one way bus ticket out of this town.Highly recommend.

We travel to Mexico quite a bit and LOVE the authentic foods. Especially the tacos!Taqueria El Macho delivered bigtime and is now our new favorite place!
It took over 30 minutes to make a burrito, which I didn't even receive because my lunch break ended, waiting for food to be prepared. Noted i put up a 30 percent tip upon ordering, which they kept after refunding me the price of the burrito. This is outrageous and unacceptable.

Tried this today and knew when I walked in it was going to be good. All the patrons were Hispanic, so that was a great sign. I was unbelievably impressed with the combination of price, portion, and flavor. This is also the most authentic place in Conway. I will definitely be a regular!!!!
