Good grocery store. Compared to other Kroger’s, a little bit weird shelving arrangement.
Not enough people to run the business and I couldn't pay my electric bill .Because they deemed that not important enough to keep open!!
Who really writes reviews about a grocery store? I mean, what is there to say? At least that was my first thought. However here I am... Stopped in to get a little inexpensive lunch and was told by the big brotha' behind the counter to try his fried chicken. Man, does it have any flavor I asked with tons of doubt. Yes he responded, I make it myself! Hey how can I go wrong? After all it is just a grocery store. My expectations were already measured. But what a lesson I learned. Aside from his hospitable disposition, the chicken was damn good! I mean damn good! It was fried perfectly and seasoned quite well especially for a grocery store.i must say I rather enjoyed this little lunch snack from Kroger's somewhere in Arkansas.
I SENT TO KROGER TO GET MY FEW GROCERYS FOR THE WEEK. I WAS OVERCHARGED ON SOME ITEMS SO CALLED THE STORE MANAGER MR. PHILLIPS . HE WAS VERY NICE CHECKED THE SALE PAPER AND SAID I WAS RIGHT TO COME BACK TO THE STORE AND GET REFUND. ALL SUNSHINE AND ROSES RIGHT! WENT TO STORE LADY AT CUSTOMER SERVICE SAID NO REFUND AFTER MY EXPLAINATION. SO I ASK FOR MANAGER. MR. PHILLIPS WAS NOT THERE UNFORTUNATELY. THE MANAGER RACHEL WAS NOT VERY NICE EITHER SHE WAS REFUSING THE REFUND TOO. AFTER A FEW WORDS SHE FINALLY SAID SINCE MR PHILLIPS SAID I COULD HAVE THE REFUND SHE WOULD GIVE ME MY MONEY. HER ATTITUDE WAS VERY BAD. I IN GOOD CONSCIOUS WILL NOT SHOP AT OAK ST KROGER FOR MY GROCERYS AGAIN.
Kroger on Salem is much better but both never want to have registers open

I shop here normally lately once a week. I went in today for normal shopping trip. The meat case smelt like pure rotten beef. It was horrible. Also I noticed on their shelves they had hot dogs that expired September 18. So be aware and make sure you check dates at this location.
Buyer beware. The store on Salem road didn't have a small container of White Pepper. I had to purchase 2 large containers. I called the Oak street store and they had the small container I needed so I drove there to purchase it but they would not refund my money for the 2 large containers I purchased from the Salem road Kroger. They said I could only return them to the store I purchased them from. I had to go back. This is why I normally shop at Walmart.
The website says they are open until 11 PM. I tried to stop by there at 10 o’clock after I got off work and they were closed. They need to update their website if they’re not going to stay open as late as they say.
