Went to chicken express today and it seems that the drive-thru has lost all care sense of manners. I tried on multiple occasions to hi, or ask how they were doung today. And she wouldnt even say hello. The name on the receipt says her name was DT. When I go out for food, customer service is important to me. This is not good customer service and I will not be returning to this establishment.
Never had a bad experience at Chicken Express, not sure if I would call it an underrated place, but as far as chicken restaurants in town go, it seems to be under appreciated. I really enjoy the fried okra they have as well as the fish filets.I also like their fried liver, which is something I don’t tend to get but their seasoning makes it taste fantastic.
First time trying chicken express and probably the last. Went through the drive thru ordered a 16 piece mixed fried chicken dinner with three sides and fried corn nuggets. We were told it would be about 15 minutes for the chicken. It took 37 minutes in the drive thru all to get home and find out there was only 9 pieces of chicken. Do better Conway‼️‼️‼️
Their chicken strips with the country gravy is a deliciously perfect match. Fries are good but the mac-n-cheese needs work cuz it was a bit watery. Otherwise this is my chicken spot for sure.
Our first time here and they gave us someone else's order. Plus not to mention the lady was giving my debit card to the car in front of me. Thank God they were honest and said, "that's not mine". As I pull up to the window she I cracking up about "almost" giving my card to a stranger. I was not happy and did make sure to give her an impression of that's not funny lady. Not impressed at ALL with this place!!!! The chicken wasn't cooked all the way either btw. Yuck!! Will not go here again! If I could give less than a 1 star I would.
Chicken livers were outstanding, I also had a one piece catfish odd combination I know but the fish was very tasty.
This is one of our favorite restaurants but today was the worst experience I've ever had there. Usually they are friendly and timely but today they were neither. I waited longer than normal and got home with fried livers that were not fully cooked and red inside. The person taking orders did not speak clear English and was rude on top of that. Just a bad experience all around. I will go back but will hope for different employees working next time.
I really wish they would season their chicken. They clean their grease excessively, which is great for cleanliness, but it means the chicken is completely bland and pale. Everything else fried ends up flavorless as well. Never had a problem with service, employees are always nice, but please let the food have some spices and flavor.
At the drive-thru, the lady took my order then said nothing for quite awhile. Usually, my order is repeated back then I'm asked to drive around. Finally, I said "Hello." The lady answered back, "May I take your order?" I told her I had already placed my order and that I would drive around. When I got to the window the lady asked me what I ordered. I told her it was a bag of ice, 3-32 oz drinks: unsweetened tea with lemon, a Diet Coke and a Dr. Pepper. I had to repeat my order two more times. Then another lady handed me the bag of ice, but she didn't tie the top so ice poured all over me and my car. She was very apologetic and I told her it was okay. Then the lady that took my order asked if I had gotten one of my drinks. I told her no, only the bag of ice. She looked at me questioningly but eventually gave me the drinks. The tea had melted the ice so I asked if I could have a large cup of ice. She gave me the stink-eye and then gave me a small cup of ice. When I got home, I noticed there was no lemon in my tea. This is the first time I've had a bad experience here.
Overpriced for the bland skinless chicken serviced. We all know the skins the best part. Friendly employees. It was great when I had it before so I'm averaging.
