Do yourself a favor and put this on your list of must visit in Bentonville…and arrive hungry! Im from the South so it takes a lot to impress me with BBQ since there are so many great BBQ masters around but Wright’s was a wow! Excellent brisket, fab sides, and a good beer selection. Outdoor seating (a major plus in my book) and terrific staff to help with your choices make Wright’s worth the effort of catching them open.
I loved the melt in your mouth brisket! My absolute favorite was the collard greens, so full of umami flavor and perfectly executed. This was by far my favorite dish. The ranch potato salad away super yummy and most times I don’t event like the potato salad at restaurants. I highly recommend this fun little spot. Be prepared for a line and limited seating, but worth the wait ;) PS the Salted Cherry Sour Beer was a wonderful pairing!Thank you my foodie friend Erin for the recommendation and company.
Fantastic bbq! On the outskirts of Downtown Bentonville, Wrights offers impressive food in an unassuming locale. The brisket is offered both lean and with fat, had a great smoke ring and a mild crust. Wrights smokes their meat with pecan wood and the gentle flavor allowed the beef to shine. The baked beans were molasses sweet with a touch of coarse black pepper. I’ll be back!
Oyah. I travel a ton and love trying new places. This one is going on my top 10 restaurants in the US. The brisket was Phenomenal, soft, flavorful, and with that hint of smokiness that I LOVE. The beans were also really good. We also tried the mashed potatoes and they were sooo yummy!I had the Big John (Fritos, baked beans on top, then brisket on top of all of that!) $13 .
THIS PLACE IS AWESOME! Everything on the menu is delicious. Can’t go wrong with any choice. I still love the pulled pork, daughter loves the ribs, husband loves the brisket….there is the wonderful sausage, bacon, and sides! I do want to correct one review that said the owner is from TX. Owner, Jordan Wright is NOT from TX. He was born and raised in Little Rock, AR, and we claim him!!!
Mash potatoes, smoked beans, ribs, jalapeño sausage, brisket. $25 plate. Ribs just fell off the bone. Taste amazing. Sausage, beans was alright. Mash potatoes was good first bite.
Definitly recommened. Every thing was delicious.Burnt ends and sausage were just crispy and flavorful. Chicken, ribs, and pulled pork were very tender and delicious. The Mach cheese side was delicious. The greens, potato salad, and beans were okay.
Mmmm yummy yummy!Maybe the best ribs I’ve ever had.Mashed potato’s and beans are reallllll tasty too.We visited between lunch time and dinner time so there was no wait and available tables.
The collard greens alone will bring me back (maybe even tomorrow)! It has an awesome tang and was sooo meaty, I should’ve asked for double greens and have a stand alone meal for later. The brisket had good smoke (not overly done) and the spicy sauce took it up a notch. Really glad someone recommended it as I’m in town only for a week.
So glad I stopped at Wrights while I was in Bentonville. There were a ton of places to choose from in the area, and I’m really happy I held out for some barbecue. The dining room was extremely clean and welcoming. As was the staff. Can’t say enough good things about how friendly and generous they were. When I mentioned I had been driving all day it really seemed like they gave me a little extra and I enjoyed every single bite. The ribs and sausage were both some of the best Ive ever had. Everyone who was working wished me well and thanked me for stopping in. Left with a big smile and a big bag of awesome food! Nice to have a genuinely great experience 10/10.
