Went here for lunch last week after looking for gluten free restaurants on Google.Walked in, this place looks like it could be on the West Coast in terms of style and attitude so it felt comfortable for me as someone who lives in Las Vegas.Again, I have to eat gluten free as a Celiac and I asked if they had a gluten free menu. They said that they have a lot of options but none are marked on their menu.I hate having to wait for a waiter to check with people in the kitchen who then have to stop what they're doing to scramble to come up with an answer. Take the pressure off your waiters and kitchen staff and make a menu with allergens noted. You will turn over tables faster and have bigger checks if I can order more stuff, faster.Does food here that contains gluten use the same fryer as food that doesn't? No idea so I stuck to a $15 chicken sandwich with gluten free bread and it came with a side of what seem to be Ruffles potato chips. It was actually pretty good but service was snail's pace SLOW. My sister got a $16 chicken rice bowl and an $8 side of potatoes.Would I go back again? Yeah probably if I was back in Bentonville.
I planned a group dinner here because I had heard really good things and had met friends for mimosas before but never ordered the food. Overall, we Simply were not impressed with the food on the dinner menu. It seems like the restaurant is trying to give the customer an elevated dining experience but all of the food that we tried fell flat. I’m ok with paying higher prices for food that is enjoyable but nothing I ordered here would make me want to come back. We ordered the chickpea and mushroom balls and chili lime fries as appetizers. The chickpea balls were grossly under seasoned. Even a pinch of salt would have elevated the flavor. On the other hand, the chili lime fries were way too salty and the chili powder overwhelmed our pallets. There was a thick layer of toasted/burnt chili powder toward the bottom of the serving dish and it was way too much to even be able to eat. For the entree, I ordered the Moroccan beef skewer. It came out looking appetizing so I was hopeful but a couple bites in and I was disappointed all over again. The pita bread that the food was served on was too greasy to even eat and the beef itself was incredibly dry, unflavored, and mushy. It came with a tzatziki sauce and a herb oil that were both good and the salad and pickled onions that accompanied the dish outshined the beef sadly. My son ordered the fried chicken sandwich and added bacon. He was not a fan of the cookery on the proteins. To make a bad experience worse, our waiter checked on our table all of two times. When we needed refills we had to flag down a different server to help us. All in all, poor food and poor service, it was a big miss for us. We don’t plan on going back anytime soon.
The salmon was wonderful. Their spring salad was great. The polenta and mushroom ball so good. Our waiter, Darius, was personable and attentive
Dined outside. Great service. I had the Moroccan Beef kabobs which was tender and flavorful.
Had a lovely dinner date at Pressroom, the staff were exceptionally good at service. Of all the food we ordered, we loved this Brussel Sprouts dish which was crispy, juicy, sweet and cooked with perfection. The atmosphere was so good at the restaurant and guess what the wait times weren't more than 15 mins, although the place was bustling with people, which is very unlikely for a popular restaurant located at the downtown. This will be one of my favorite go to dinner places at Bentonville.
We waiting a REALLY long time after we were seated and ordering drinks from our waiter. Then a different staff person came and told us she was sorry for our wait and told us her manager was offering us a free a appetizer…. But never asked what we wanted. Never got that.Took our drink order again, and we didn’t get those until after repeatedly asked. When we finally got the food it was mediocre at best, the customer service was worse than that.Atmosphere is the ONLY thing. We sat in an adorable outdoor bubble.
What a fun experience right in downtown Bentonville! The food was fantastic, we went for brunch on a Saturday, I had some chorizo breakfast tacos that were just amazing! They had chorizo and crispy nashbrowns on the taco - something I had never had before and SO glad i tried them. They didn't have a ton of choices on the menu, but everything sounded delicious. The bar was really nice in the middle of the restaurant... they served a ton of local beers, wines and ciders which I appreciated! They offered taste tests on anything they had on draft so that was nice to get to try a few new things before I had to settle on one. They also have an espresso machine and they're coffee smelled amazing too!Our service was great, there were 2 of us and we sat at the bar. Everyone there was so nice and we were just very well taken care of. They asked how they could make our experience better several times and were just very attentive to us as we hung out. Even though they were busy, they never made us feel like we were taking the seats too long or needed to leave to make room for more people to come in.If you're in downtown Bentonville and looking for a good place to grab lunch or brunch, Pressroom is the place to go! I'm glad we ended up trying it and I'm excited to go back and try more menu items. Next time, I want to try the coffee because like I said, it smelled amazing!
Overrated and overpriced. For the same money there are other restaurants in bentonville I’d prefer to visit. Lots of pretty people in a well designed space makes for some great people watching though!
This was not a great experience. The service was slow and unorganized. The drinks were not great and we had to reorder several times before we got them. The food was ok but nor great. The outside bubble seating was the only positive!
I have enjoyed many meals here before but unfortunately my recent meal wasn’t very impressive. Sad to say I’ve had tastier salads with fresher ingredients from quick take out / food court type of eateries and disappointed to get this from a restaurant. Note that I did get the salad without raisins, but I don’t believe adding raisins would have substantially increased the quality of the salad. I did get take out but only walked a short and slow 5 mins before eating (pictured).Just a small side note that I also ordered a tomato soup and genuinely assumed it would come with a side of bread but it did not. This could definitely be an unlucky and one off bad choice on the menu but I’m disappointed with what seems to be an overall trend of high cost of food here in Bentonville (comparable to those in big cities) but without the quality to justify it.
