Great Burgers and moreWe love Braum's and stop when traveling around Arkansas and Oklahoma. The news in Hot Springs is that we will have a location coming here and the town is excited.I have had a few burgers from Braum's over the years but today was the best ever. It could possibly be one of the top ten burgers I have eaten anywhere over the last thirty-five years. It was juicy, well cooked, and put together by a pro. Fried were hot and malt was thick. Most impressive was the location was not busy at the time but quality was important.We had ice cream the previous night at this same location and it was delicious.
Diners had to clean their own tables, condiment counter looked like a troop of macaques had been there, condiment cups were not available, food and register both took ridiculously long time, both burgers were black on at least one side, employees other than one or 2, including older woman (in charge?) acted like she was too good to be there, banana and chocolate syrup under one booth got on one lady's shoe, so she had to clean a second one to eat on. No sanitizer in sight, so I use the term "clean" loosely...a wipe with a paper towel. I had been trying to get my fiance to come try the burgers to see if they were as good as they were 22 years ago, when I lived here for a few months...he vowed not to return, and I sure don't want another charred burger. I can beat this at home. Thanks, but no thanks, other than maybe some ice cream. Maybe.
We arrived before 10:30. The workers were ignoring the front counter and only working the drive thru. When someone finally came up front to help us, she said I could not get my drink for $1 because it was after 10:30. I told her I was there before 10:30 and they ignored us. She said very snippy that they only had 4 workers. I said that they should still honor the dollar since I was there before 10:30. She was still very rude and said that hey only had 4 workers. I understand that places are short on staff, but they need to honor their deals when you arrive in time. Also, she does not need to work with the public if she feels she has the right to be rude.
Had a great fast food burger and crinkle fries! You know a place by the drive thru line - this was wrapped around the place. Friendly staff - who loved my Aussie! Food was fast and reasonably priced.
Well they did get my order wrong but that's okay. They had a new cook and were trying hard to get food out. We need to be understanding through these times with worker shortage. I just appreciate that people still want to work. While I was waiting I watched an employee make a big sundae for a couple and it wasn't quite what they wanted so it went in the trash... I wish I was thinking and I would have just bought it. What a waste
Such a great place! Very affordable, great quality and nice customer service! One bad side is their soda dispenser sodas.... they taste too much like tap water.
The food was mediocre at best, stale bun and cold beef patty. Cheese was also cold. The staff are SO GRUMPY. Both times I’ve been here the staff seems really irritated that they have to do anything and are rude. They got my ice cream order wrong also. Best part was surprisingly the fries, they were fresh.
Very low prices. Burger taste was neutral. Bun was too soft, burger was gray, cheese was not melted. Like a burger at a high school football game in a small town. Fries weren't bad. Longest booths I've ever seen.
Double quarter pounder with cheese. Lettuce, tomato, pickles and onion tasted fresh. Though the cheese wasn't melted, the burger was hot and the fries were crunchy. Friendly service. $7.50
Food was mostly ok. I wont do the chicken sandwich again! It sucked! Dry, over cooked, maybe even old.... didn't look anything like the picture. The ice cream was great and the rest of our food was good.
