Bayou boys offered one of the best catfish poboys I have had in awhile. The toppings were very fresh. The special sauce was amazing as well. The shrimp baskets weren't bad either.
These guys catered our Grandson and his Fiancee' Wedding Shower and the Cajun Food was absolutely the best. Got to visit with these young men for awhile and they were so friendly and such good character. The party was a great success, thanks Bayou Boys!
The real deal! As a military kid, we moved around a lot. One duty station landed us LA for awhile. Anyway, crawfish boils became one of my favorite things. For years, I have tried so many styles but nothing is as good as a good ole' Louisiana crawfish boil and nothing was as good as when I was a kid. Enter Bayou Boys!I chose them based upon reviews and soooo happy I did! Taste just like the crawdaddies I remember from childhood. We catered for a large house warming party and everyone LOVED them and kept asking where we got our boil from. The delicious crawfish boil was the hit of the party and we are forever grateful. We definitely recommend and plan to get more from them again.PS- Spicy level. I found it comfortable. My husband found it light. My guest thought it was pretty hot. Spice level depends on the person. I personally thought it was perfect
Giving them a 1. Disappointed that they want to charge an inflation fee and card fee since moving to location in Bentonville. Was not charging those fees at old locations (Centerton and even at old location last year at the fish restaurant). The crawfish is inflated in price enough at $8 per lb. LA is 3.99 per lb and MS is 3.75 per lb. So, don’t understand that fee. And puzzled as to why the fee for paying with debit/credit cards when there wasn’t one before. Bad business! But, the crawfish is not bad.
This is the absolute best crawfish I’ve had in NWA. SO much more flavor than anywhere else. Super nice people, too!
That Catfish and Shrimp is the best around.
Top notch crawfish with top notch service! These guys know what they are doing. Ask for a sample of you aren’t sure what to order. Big Mike will hook you up.
best crayfish ever. catfish is awesome.corn is amazing.
I was in Bentonville and saw the truck and wanted to give it a try since I only see good reviews. I got 1lb and 1 corn for about $11-12. I was so excited to try but when I came home, the crawfish tasted super super super salty and old. My husband’s word was “unbearable”. It was disappointing. Not sure if it was this specific batch that was extremely salty, but I don’t know if I will give it another try.
I'm hoping that this was just a down day for my first visit. First the bad. The corn was cold and tasted like it had sat for awhile before serving. Literally one bite and couldn't finish it. The boil is too tame spice wise, but I understand trying to appeal to a broader clientele. It would be nice to have options or at least some hot sauces to choose from. Also, where was the andouille sausage? Now the good stuff. The care given to the crawfish and shrimp is awesome! The mudbugs were cleaned very well and not a single speck of vein in the shrimp. Overall I was underwhelmed, but I'll be back to try it again.
