Excellent service, amazing food! Can't go wrong no matter what you order. I got a few dishes for family and it was by FAR the best Mexican food I've ever had. ?
Good food! Drive in now available! They also have Uber eats , but I did notice prices are different in the Uber eats app than the restaurant pricing.
As a Yuma native, no restaurant will ever surpass The Chile Pepper (or Mr. G's) as my all-time favorite. No refried beans have ever compared, and their tortillas are also to die for. In fact, if I ever get diagnosed with a terminal illness, I want to go back to Yuma and order two bean and cheese burritos, a quesadilla, and a Diet Coke as my last meal. It's sad that Tripadvisor uses a five-star scale, because this place deserves at least seven.
Very Disappointed ? The food didn't taste the same ?♀️what happened, did they change the recipe or cook? I normally buy a lot of food to take back to Texas having second thoughts about wasting my money. I also found it to be very expensive! Change it back to the old school way ?please.
Chile Pepper is a go to staple when in Yuma. Awesome food since forever. My go to favs are the rolled tacos and machaca burrito, but you can't go wrong. The sauce is always the best and it is addicting. Love supporting this and MrG's every time I am back in town. Even when family comes through Yuma, they bring a cooler full of Chile Pepper back up to Phoenix for us to enjoy.
The food tasted OK. It's changed a lot in the last few years. The burritos really have little beans and cheese in them and the mixed burritos have more rice than meat.
Much better taste on the bean and cheese burritos this time around. Today they had that original old school taste. Going next week to make sure its the same taste and if so i will give a higher grade. For its sister Mr. Gs they need to improve with that taste as Chile Pepper has. Went to Mr. Gs 2 days ago burrito was cold cheese wasnt malted ask for a new one got it and it was still cold. The taste made me throw it in the garbage just horrible tortilla and not the same beans as the Chile Pepper so go to Chile Pepper instead!!!
Used to be the best restaurant in Yuma but their online menu is just wrong. why call it a “bean and cheese burrito” if you then have to add the cheese, and when you get home and unwrap your order you have a tortilla with beans and no cheese! So disappointed!
Pretty good. Good quality, fresh, but there's something lacking in the flavor. Yes in the area it has a rep but I'm sure that's because of a lack of options.
Everything packaged to go even when you eat in. Chips stale. Homemade flare, but lacking. Too pricey for what we received. Horchata was tasty.
