The better theater in Yuma.. but the cafè where they sell hot chocolate closes at 10pm on a Friday night oddly because they have showtimes at 10pm .. The “manager” talks to customers as if we work for him in a military type manner.. major turn off. I hope they change this!! As people want to be “allowed” to buy snacks and such while watching the movie..
Can't make your movie and need a refund or reschedule for another time? Do it on the app. Just kidding. Their app feels like it's 1999. Clunky and just good enough to take your money. Okay, let's pretend it's 1989 and call the theater to talk to a manager. Just kidding. They don't answer. It is automated. Well... Surely you can just press 0 and ring the ticket desk or an office. Nope. It's makes you sit through a listing of every movie and every showtime for that day. Well at the end of that listing you can talk to someone. Haha nope. Not a bad theater but the lack of customer service is enough to STAY AWAY from giving them my money. Harkins is just as good without these issues. You've been warned lol.
I took a female on a date here it was a great place I love this evening they have recliner chairs and the movie theater is very comfortable the food is a bit pricey but the experience is great.
Seats are oh so comfortable, Cafe in the front didn't have alot of things that were on their menu and girls were kinda rude. Snack bar servers were really nice though.
Just don't buy thier food! Your welcome. Everything else, great. I enjoy coming to this theater because of their seats.
I must say, I am absolutely appalled at my choice to see a movie at Regency Movie Theatre. While using ABA Therapy with our nephew which required me to bring a closed bag a chips and his iPad to the movie theatre per chance there was he experienced an episode I was told by the manager not bring this in. I explained he has Down syndrome as well as Autism with which these items are used as token economy to prevent him from becoming extremely upset she then exclaimed again not to bring this to the movie theatre as well as letting me know I am no longer allowed at the movie theatre with my nephew. The snack concessions worker, looked to my boyfriend and apologized for your managers behavior. We purchased the tickets, as well as nacho chips to give back to the movie theatre with the hope of the least amount of understanding. I explained we would not be opening the bag of chips it was there just in case. Furthermore, I feel Regency has gone against the American Disability Act, for the mere fact of your manager and three workers confronting me with issues. Your staff has been unbelievable disrespectful to which led to our nephew having an episode prior to the movie. I expect an understanding, as well as disciplinary action or education regarding this policy and our nephew. Stephanie the manager, Ricardo concessions.

Ok so I'm all about supporting local business but when they get a lil stupid about certain policy like bringing your own water bottle. I get frustrated bcuz there is no room for improvement or flexibility. Just bcuz my cup wasn't clear I couldn't bring it in. I would totally show them what I have in my cup. This theater had no water bottles, I strongly believe it just wanted for me to buy their non clear cup full price. I had surgery which doesn't allow me to drink anything else but water or able to use a straw. That is why I brought my own cup with water! Harkins was more willing to accommodate my needs. Last time I will be coming here! ?
Loved the reclining chairs. Place did not felt cramped in any way.However the picture quality lacked definition and detail. The contrast was really faint. Just like an old school projector that has a bulb ready to burn out. Sound was OK but again lacked definition.
Best secret in the desert. Great movie house. My personal favorite..
