I had the chorizo and eggs breakfast. It came with beans, potatoes, and choice of tortillas. I chose flour. The chorizo had great flavor and was not very greasy like chorizo can be at other restaurants. The beans had excellent flavor and the potatoes were cooked perfectly. I've been to the Foothills location which is closer to work but this is closer to home. I'm really looking forward to trying dinner at this location.

The lady that takes the orders during the week she has super ugly customer service and she always gets my order wrong. I get it, it gets busy and probably understaffed but that's not an excuse for her attitude all the time. We order from here because its right next to my work but I rather drive somewhere else from now on.

I had lunch recently at Los Manjares De Pepe Foothills located on the "hidden side" of a shopping plaza at approximately the intersection of South Fortuna Road and County 11th Street (South Frontage Roa). One mapping website gives the address of this Los Manjares De Pepe Foothills as 11274 South Fortuna Road. There seems to be another "Los Manjeres De Pepe" on 8th Street in Yuma, as listed in TripAdvisor. The relationship -- if any -between the two restaurants with about the same name is unknown to me. In any event, the restaurant on South Fortuna Road is not much to look at from the outside, and there is nothing fancy in the setting, decor, menus, etc. It does serve tasty, authentic Mexican food with good-sized portions. A lunch steak special (don't remember the name) tasted fresh -- without preservatives -- accompanied by beans and rice. Los Manjares De Pepe Foothill has ample indoor seating but no covered outdoor seating. Service is friendly, based on the "order at the counter for the wait staff to bring out the food to your table" format.

I went to visit my folks at their winter home in Yuma, and I said that I would like to have some authentic Mexican food before I left. My dad said he'd heard of a little place that was supposed to be good, but had never been there. I looked it up and was impressed by the great reviews. We set off in their Jeep to find this undiscovered gem in a strip mall. It took a few minutes of cruising the shopping center to find it, but we did find it. The store front is unassuming, and the place a little worn and cheap feeling. But, we were greeted by a mature Hispanic male that was extremely polite and quite a hunk (per my mother). We were seated in the secondary room due to a healthy amount of patrons. The decor was typical of a smaller Mexican restaurant with an odd entire wall covered in artificial turf, lol. Our gorgeous Hispanic waiter (per mom...) brought us homemade chips and salsa. The salsa was a bit watery, but great flavor and perfect amount of heat (for me and dad). The menu consisted of some traditional Mexican dishes, as well as plenty of Mexican/American fare such as chimichangas and burritos. I ordered a boring beef chimichanga while Dad and mom shared an order of fajitas. Our food was brought out to us in a timely manner by the Mexican Fabio and an extremely beautiful Hispanic woman. Mom had also ordered a side of guacamole and it arrived perfectly fresh and delicious. My Chimichanga was perfect! The fried shell tasted fresh and amazing. The beef was wonderful and tender. But what really blew me away was the re-fried beans and Spanish rice. Both tasted SO much better than your typical Mexican restaurant fare. These were unique, and better! You could tell this was a relatively new place struggling to find it's rhythm and flow. Still, the service was honest, caring, and attentive. The food was much better than typical American Mexican restaurants, and the staff were attractive and pleasant. Will definitely return when I visit next year!

The food was good the vibe in there was homey and I felt like I was eating at a long lost Tias house in Mex

Delicious. We had 9 people so service was a bit slow but not horrible.

I had a chili relleno and sopes. The beef on the sopes was very tasty. The chili relleno was tough. The breading was a little thick but tasteless. The margaritas had a very weird taste. I did not finish drinking it. The chili verde my husband said was good. I may have to give it another chance...

Pleasantly satisfied with breakfast here. Delicious taste and friendly, attentive service. I recommend it 100%

Love the food here. I order it all the time for my co workers and I. The only thing that needs to improve is actually answering the phone. It seems like they answer and just set the phone down, all three of us have been calling this morning to place an order for pickup but no one will answer and when they do we can hear noise in the background but nobody says anything on the other end of the line. The food is great though.

OMG, the best authentic Mexican food like my grandma used to make. We absolutely loved it. You will not be disappointed.
