Very roomy established restaurant. Another one in Foothills. Has a good old school vibe.very nice hall with good food. Definitely will return if possible. Used to be Applebee's. So nice facility.
First time at this location but I've been to the Foothills location many times. Menu is the same at both. I've only ever had breakfast here but for the price it's the best you can get. If you want a comfort food type breakfast with large servings, this is the spot.
Had chicken fried steak and california omelet. Chicken fried steak was good but potatoes were not fully cooked and I specifically asked for well done cottage fries. Omelet was overcooked and hashbrowns were greasy. With 2 cups of coffee our meal was over $40.00Not going back to the #2 restaurant
Foods good as usual. Service was not as good as previous visits. It appeared a lack of communication may have been the problem.
Daybreakers is one of my favorite places to eat when I'm on the side of town. Their chicken wings are super bomb. Their steak dinners are worth way more money than they charge. There's a full bar there. It still looks exactly like Applebee's but now the food is actually cooked by a human. I really enjoy it every time I get to go to daybreakers and if you get a chance to go try the sweet potato pancakes they're huge and delicious.
The very worst prime rib . Ordered medium came well done. Slice if meat less than quarter of an inch. Potatoes burnt. Stuffing only thing on plate worth eating. Plus took over 40 minutes for food . Service minimal. We both gave had great meals in the past but today was awful.
Hillbilly breakfast (basically biscuits and gravy w/sausage patties, scrambled eggs and potatoes or hash browns) was really tasty. My bro said Steak and eggs also really good. Steak was cooked and seasoned perfect, looked pretty juicy. Customer service was acceptable.
Great service, super fast, the chicken quesadilla was great for me, the grilled salmon and veggies were great for my sister. Would have been 5 stars but they were out of too many items we tried to order before settling on the food we got. I'll definitely try them again when visiting AZ again.
I had heard a few good reviews about this place, but overall it was just okay. We split a Belgian waffle and the chicken fried steak. The waffle was awesome! It was super fluffy and soft, whereas the fried steak was not good. The meat almost had a gamey flavor (wild caught) and lots of gristle.Food came out fast and hot, service wasn’t too bad, and the waffle made up for us being sad about the steak. The interior of the restaurant is basically Applebee’s, with no changes whatsoever.
The food left something to be desired the sandwich I had was very bland and the potato salad was inconsistently tangy in some spots and sweet in others. The food price was in excess of the food value (it costs more than its worth). The wait staff on the other hand bumped my rating up from 2 to 3 stars. My waiter Dustin did an amazing job, very punctual and attentive, covered all my needs and knew what i needed without me asking sometimes. If i could rate just his customer service it would be 5 stars.
