IF you’re hungry, the breakfast sliders are a must! Large enough to share if you’re not a big eater. Staff is very friendly and attentive.

Went out for our anniversary today, Our server was super sweet, but I was very disappointed in the food this visit. My macaroni & cheese was cold and dry, she switched it for mashed potatoes, and there were chunks of onion in them, and by then I was just DONE.. Husband's burger was good, but his sweet potato fries were cold. Our server kept apologizing, for things she had no control over, which made me feel bad for her. Black Bear, y'all missed the mark today.
I would like to say first and foremost Alfredo the Manager and the staff there were awesome. It was my first time to Yuma and first time to The Black Bear Diner. The food was excellent. The restaurant itself was set up very nicely and loved the Bear theme. If I can get back to Yuma again soon, this place is where I will be eating.
Stopped in for breakfast on way Tucson. 2nd time eating here. 630am -730am is the sweet spot for quick seating. Not crowded at this time. Great decor and atmosphere. Love the bear theme. Waitress was friendly and helpful. We had the Shasta scramble with toast and bacon. The bacon...outstanding!!! Don't miss out on this smokey deliciousness. Scambles were just right and low calorie. Add a little bear sauce to spice it up.
Great breakfast!! I haven’t been here for lunch or dinner, but if you want a new breakfast spot, this would be a great place to try! ?Our breakfast plates came out hot and delicious! We really enjoyed the fresh juice that is made here.Nothing against the restaurant or employees, but this place gets extremely busy on the weekends, I would HIGHLY recommend making reservations! ?
Had a nice meal. Was perfect weather to sit outside. Unfortunately, the patio tables are a little neglected and we were concerned the leg was going to give out! The server was very accommodating and we were happy. I always recommend the pancakes here. Also, the avocado club was very good.
My first time dining in and the service was friendly and energetic. The food was good, left full. So when dining in, come with an appetite.
Went here after hearing several people recommend it but we were not blown away. Far from it, we were under-whelmed. Place seemed dirty and food was very average. We had chicken that was dry and disappointing. Friends both had fish and chips and said it was good.
Really enjoyed the California Bacon Benedict ~ the accompanying home style potatoes and fruit bowl were delish! My son had the sweet cream pancakes that tasted a bit like birthday cake. Great food & great service made it a very delightful experience. : - )
