If this rating was solely on food it would be higher. We got the hoagies, pretty decent. However when we went in person they told us your not eating here no dining at 5 pm they close in an hour so rude right off the bat. Then lady asked what do you want before we even had a chance to look at the menu. To make matters worse and the reason for the low rating is this place is so unsanitary. Nobody wore gloves, all food was handled without gloves and no hairnet. My son had a hair in his sandwich threw half away, and these are about $12 not the $8.50 shows online. My meat was pink in my sandwich so threw mine away too. Wish we saved our money and left after the rude greeting from staff. We will NEVER eat here again nor do we recommend.Nice reply owner how very professional to call your customers cowards for voicing our real experiences. Safe health practices especially during the pandemic is not optional or cowardly. If you had any sense whatsoever you would lay off the insults to your customers and get with the program of practicing & implementing health safety as your #1 practice for all your customers! Also food borne illness is a real safety issue, hopefully this place passes health inspection. Also, false advertising is fraudulent. This is my honest review so if I’m a coward for posting it like you said, so be it.

Bernardo's is one of my favorite places to eat. The food is great and the service is always excellent and a must go on everybody's list!!!
This review is long overdueBut after having called DaBoyz's IN THE FOOTHILLS HEARD MANY BAD THING'S ABOUT THIS PLACE to ask 2 question's lady was very rude and said "your going to order something" ?I said I will get my.order together and call you back she SLAMMED THE PHONE DOWN NEEDLESS TO SAY I WILL NOT BE GOING THERE I WOULD HAVE WENT TO BERNARDO'S BUT THEY WERE CLOSEDNOW FOR BERNARDO'SWe go to Bernardo's often especially when I have company and We are never disappointed.Mark and his crew are amazing we have been going here since I was a young lady so over 35 years nowMy parents were snowbirds and we would come and visit them and the first thing we had to do was go over get our stromboli's pizza ECT now all these years have never been disappointedKeep doing what your doing thank you to Mark and crew
Mmmmmm Stromboli! As usual Bernardo's is great! I haven't been as much as normal because of being on a diet, 1st time back and wonderful as always! Great people, great food!
Their menu here is simple, but the food is amazing. This is my treat. I love coming here, and honestly, I'm glad I don't live anywhere near it otherwise I'd be spending everyday here. All their food is delicious, but my absolute favorite, the one I come for, the sandwich I dream about is the ham and tuna. I LOVE IT! One day, when the grim reaper finally comes for me, I hope he does it immediately after eating a ham and tuna, that way I'll die happy.
