Normally, I find myself at all you can eat sushi buffets here in Tucson and I avoid other places that don’t do that. However, this one is an exception due to two main reasons—they have a wide variety of vegan sushi options and their happy hour(2pm-6pm) specials are actually very good and competitive with other happy hour menus and other restaurants that are similar. I have definitely come here almost 3 times in a week! I highly recommend it.

She even knew how to make the formal meals on flight. So she'd bring back food in a cooler suitcase.Then living on Oahu I got spoiled there too with the authentic food.My mom almost gave up hope in finding Authentic katsu. We found it. And my beyond favorite okonomoyaki ❤️. Seriously thank you for bringing this to Arizona.Not only was the food amazing but our service was beyond 5stars. I'm terrible with names but he's from CO like I'm originally from. Seriously he went way way above and beyond. I must bring him a gift from Japan when I go back. My friends send me gifts all the time.We will be back for sure. Even more so when my fiance comes to visit from Italy. They do not have this in Italy. I've looked. And I suck at cooking it. So this will be my number one go to when I'm in az once a year ?.To anyone sitting near us, sorry if we were loud. My mom is 78 and refuses to get hearing aids. And I talk about topics she's familiar with. But apologies if we bothered anyone. ?
We love coming to eat at Yoshimatsu. Our server, Matt, was so helpful and nice. My kids love the sushi rolls and I love the seaweed salad.
The udon was great. The service as a team was great. My actual server was ok... and the sushi was really good with good fish. Steamed dumplings are always a go to for me. The beer was cold!
My daughter and I come here often.. we absolutely love this place.. food is fresh and tasty. We love the atmosphere and vibe.. and staff is very friendly.
Good food and friendly staff. Prices are good for portion size you get which are very big. Happy hour has a great deal for half priced sushi and drinks.
Amazing vegan selection, maybe the best I've ever seen. Totally authentic, flavors just like I grew up with. No compromise here, vegans can enjoy this place a few times without running out of things to try. Will definitely be coming here often now that I've found it!
I have been a happy, loyal customer of Yoshimatsu for more years than I can remember. As far as I am concerned, Yoshimatsu is a unique staple of the Tucson community. The food is absolutely delicious, and will always leave you full and satisfied. I recommend the following: fried squid legs for an appetizer, seafood Yakisoba for a main course, red bean ice cream for dessert, and a couple cold glasses of plumb wine to wash it all down.
Went to Youshimatsu for dinner. I ordered the Tempura Bento box($15.50) which had Tempura shrimp and vegetables and small salad. Another ordered the Una Jyu($24.00) which was BBq eel. Both meals were very tasty and satisfying. Service was good and friendly.
Friendly staff went above and beyond in taking care of our 16 person party. Our waiter Wesley was friendly and attentive and I enjoyed his small talk with our party. They accommodated our last minute special requests and even had a candle for a cake.The food was great and prepared quickly. The kids meal was cute and artistic.There was a trainee there that ended up spilling water on me when she was collecting the cups but I could see she was trying her best haha. Next time I come ill bring an extra pair of pants.
