This place was just ok. Mallory took great care of us. Small diner with a fun vibe. Food was decently priced. I ordered country fried steak with scrambled eggs. It was good but the steak was out of a box. I was looking for home made. Biscuits and gravy was a little hard in which you need a knife to cut the biscuit. Overall, just ok.
Very welcoming right from the start. I walked in and got a hello from Viv while she was keeping busy, so she clearly welcomes and cares about all guests that come in, regular or not.Food was just what I was looking for and great prices, absolutely delicious!Very dog friendly, treated my pet as one of her own, and he's a pitbull so some people can get a little nervous, never felt that at all as she has her own am staff!Water bowls and treats on the patio!I'll definitely be back next time I'm I'm town!
Simple menu of favorites at good prices. Wonderful neighborhood atmosphere and friendly wait staff. We will definitely be back.
Viv's has breakfast food with little variety. If you want a good omelet or bacon and eggs or pancakes, this is a great option. If you want variety, you should try elsewhere.
Really unique place. Food was good, but not over the top or unique. Was fun to visit but probably wouldn't go back. Service was exceptionally nice and friendly
A friendly, longtime neighborhood place. A favorite of firefighters and other frontline service people of all kinds. Features simple and delicious breakfast and lunch fare...
Great food, from eggs and bacon to steak omelette creations. Definitely worth your time.
Best omlet I've had in some time. My friend Dale suggested we go there and it was just a fine place!
Simple, good and basic food. Very friendly and helpful staff.
I visited Viv’s Cafe on 9/26/21 for the first time. No one greeted me when I walked in. I waited several minutes, as servers walked by me, but no one offered to help me. I was not in the line to pay the cashier, 2 customers in that line. There were open tables, but I wanted to sit outside, but didn’t know the process, so finally waited until the 2 customers paid their bills so I could at least ask the cashier if I could sit outside and get a menu. About the same time I asked a server if I could sit outside and asked for a menu. She told me to just go outside and someone would be there. I had to again wait even to see a menu. I know they are busy, but someone should address people as they come in the door. Food was good, but the server never once checked back on me, and I needed a to-go box, so had to go inside to get it. There are lots of good places to eat in Tucson, so not sure I’d go back. I still gave the server 20% tip, but I normally give more, hope they read this… and try harder to make people feel welcomed.
