I've been here almost a year and this place is exactly what I needed. Not even in NY did I find such a nice place with great people and delicious soul food.
Great St. Louis Ribs. Nice smoke ring, done but still has some bite, just like we like it. We are visiting from NC and this is the best BBQ we have found in Tucson. We may pay a return visit before we fly out. Mac & Cheese is also good. The ribs have a nice Smokey taste. The wood is different from what we have in NC. I wonder what type of wood he used?
The pulled pork had a perfect amount of smoke. Coleslaw tasted fresh and the collards were delicious.I’ll be coming back on Friday for the gumbo.

A few of my coworkers ordered here and we had the links, brisket, ribs, chicken and shredded pork sandwich. All received raves reviews. They sides we tried were the Mac and cheese(side bar I don’t like anybody Mac and cheese). I was skeptical but pleasantly surprised it was on point. We also tried the slaw and Potatoe salad. Also try the pound cake, delish!
