We absolutely loved our stay! If we weren't on such a tight schedule we definitely would have stayed longer. The rooms were charming and unique. The staff was amazing from check-in to the bar. Great drinks and atmosphere. Best of all super pet friendly.

We love Tucson's vintage vibe and we got it all at the Clifton. Charming, comfortable and central to all the places I wanted to go. Close to downtown with plenty of choices for food and entertainment. Genisis and the team were all very nice, easy going, and helpful. The coffee was so good we went and picked up a couple of bags at Decibel. We will book again and give the Citizen a try too.

Super groovy spot. Everyone working there was really helpful - gave lots of good dinner options nearby. Cocktails at their bar were tasty. Rooms nice/comfortable. Loved the French press option for morning coffee. Great location downtown. Would stay again in a quick second.

Good food at a decent price. Cool location. Mostly nice staff. They have the best hibiscus magaritas in town. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try.

This is a small and very well designed hotel downtown near to the entertainment area on Congress. It has a mix of retro and modern rooms. The modern room was very large, well equipped with everything I needed. Very quiet at night. Has an evening bar with some food items. Walking distance to the Rialto Theater where I was seeing a show. Five Points Market has a great breakfast just 2 blocks south.

Very funky and quaint hotel very close to the centre of Tucson and felt very safe. Only issue is the curtain next to the door, you can actually see out round it which means someone could see in too if they wanted. They lost a star only because I had trouble with a refund from them for an earlier booking. Luckily I was able to change my date but it took a while to sort out.

I have a pretty high tolerance for accommodations having always stayed in hostels as a solo traveler. However, I am less impressed with quirky, retro details than I am with security, function and comfort. I agree with a previous traveler that the doors need more than one lock. I was initially in #18, an ADA room and while the room was large to meet the standard, there was only one bedside lamp so the room was not well lighted. The unit above me had no insulation between the floor and ceiling; consequently I heard everything from walking, things being dropped and dragged on the floor, talking, the TV late at night and a couple rocking the bed. There is no desk service past 10 so you have no help if you need it. I asked to be moved to an upststairs unit and was, which was better but here, some things didn't work. One of the bedside lamps had two bulbs only one of which worked. The fridges in both units were quite noisy so I had to turn them down in order to get some sleep. In both units, the vertical window by the door had a roll down shade that did not ompletely cover the window so at night, I had no privacy from someone passing by. I don't think you would be happy staying here if noise is important to you. The bar and noise from other units was pretty disturbing. The best thing about the Clifton is the cheerful staff and the location to downtown, only seven blocks (yes, I counted them) and the rooms were pretty clean. I hope this review motivates management to make some changes. For $129 a night I do expect more.

Very nice Hotel in the Downtown area of Tucson. Walking distance to downtown restaurants and bars, close to the convention center and to the Mercado San Agustin. Friendly and comfortable rooms, nice bathroom with shower, fridge and microwave in the room, large windows. Very friendly bar & restaurant in the courtyard! Tea/Coffee maker in the room and maybe a desk would have been nice, otherwise everything perfect.

Solid! Good drinks and food great staff and dogs welcome inside restaurant

We stayed here for 3 nights in room A30, it was a sunset facing room on the upper level. Absolutely loved everything about our stay! Jocelyn checked us in and was super sweet. The location is within walking distance of everything and we really enjoyed hanging out in the lounge and outside in the courtyard. I'm so glad we booked here instead of a chain hotel. This boutique hotel is such a charming relaxing place to stay in Tucson.
