Clean and fast and great customer service. The best breakfast burrito I’ve had in a long time if ever and at a great price.
I personally feel the food here is just okay. The portions are small, the prices are a little expensive, but the food tastes decent. The tacos and the sopes are my top choices, everything else is just okay.
This was the second taqueria today in Tucson and it was far better than the first! Love the murals on the wall, the seating was ample and comfortable but of course you have to wipe it down if you don’t want to get sticky quickly. The bathroom was unavailable for some reason but that didn’t put a damper on our dinner. The service was good, timely but not rushed and friendly. I ordered the Al Pastor and the Ceviche (1) Tostada (2). The Al pastor was not memorable to me but perhaps because it was overshadowed so much by the other one. The salsa wasn’t spicy by the way, don’t know if they have a hot one available but it was tasty enough. I LOVED the ceviche tostada. It had plenty of seafood (shrimp and crabmeat with cilantro and sauce) but also huge pieces of top quality avocado. Seriously I was so impressed with that it could have been served at a fancy fusion restaurant and no one would know. Plus, it’s only $3.50. Get in and get yours before they raise to price! ??

That says it all!!!The tacos, the soups, the horchata, the sopes, the churros... OMG... EVERYTHING IS YUMMY HERE!!! Traveling through and wanted to keep it local! Best decision, it was clean and well kept, the food was good and reasonably priced! Thank you and keep up the good work the good was delicious and gave me a taste of home ❤️
Don't let the purple paint on the outside scare you. Inside Taqueria Juanitos is full of sights, sounds, and flavor you want in a local taco shop. My picture of the mix burrito doesn't do it justice. Served with sliced radishes and salsa with a real kick. Aqua frescas y cervezas Mexicanas are available. There was a line but it moved quickly and the wait was not bad. I recommend you visit Juanitos on your next visit to Tucson.
Their cocido was so heavenly. I'm going to go and get more. Boyfriend got the menudo it was tasty as well but the cocido was where it was at!
I've been coming here for many years and all I can say is I'm never disappointed The Price is Right, they have great customer service and the food is so so yummy
12FEB2022: Tried the Carnitas, Barbacoa and the Chorizo & Huevo plate. All delicious, fantastic vibe. Super clean inside, cool murals - lots of locals and fantastic customer service. Shout out to that kit hen staff. I've traveled extensively in Mexico and once inside this little gem, I felt like I was on holiday abroad enjoying a delicious genuine, Mexican experience.Thank you, Kevin and company - see you soon!
Everything on their menu is good. I will drive from the farthest end of Tucson for their food. It is quality food made from scratch, just like grandma used to make. Go before the lunch and dinner rush because it gets busy. I order food by the pound there. Saturday and Sunday menudo and it is delicious.
