Butter chicken was delicious! Chicken was tender and juicy, the garlic naan was amazing! My daughter had two helpings! Our server was knowledgeable and helped us choose the perfect food, Bobby was charming and pleasant. It was a wonderful relaxing atmosphere and we will be back to try the buffet! As you can see from our empty dishes there were no leftovers to take home so bring your appetite!

Stopped at this restaurant on our way to Puerto Pensaco. This restaurant does justice to its name : Tamarind and Tangy .. but not little Tangy. 2nd worst Indian restaurant my wife and me had in the US after El Paso Texas . Everything tastes so sour/ tangy coz of lot of tamarind.Ordered Gobi Manchurian. Little pieces of Gobi with lot of tamarind. I can make sambar with the tamarind they added to sauté the manchurianSamosas - only 2 given and one was dipped in oil. Chutneys given are so lemonyButter chicken - gravy tasted like tomato puréeKashmiri Malai kofta, gravy not so great and kofta balls so oily on the inside, looks like they fried the left over kofta from other dayGarlic naan - so tiny for the priceAnd now the amazing dish - egg biryani ? . It’s just white rice with some spices added without salt to the rice . It has no biryani tasteRoyal lassi : Mango lassi - tangy againNever going back if we ever visit Tucson Az

Beautiful, incredibly clean dining room, friendly staff, delicious food. They weren’t packed so the service was fast and great! If you like Indian food you need to try this! Delicious tikka masala ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent Food! First timer and will definitely go back! Great Service and wonderful food

Nice Restaurant and the food taste good and price reasonable

We ordered the lamb biryani and Murg methi malai with garlic naan and plain naan. The food was fresh tasting and had a wonderful flavor to it . I especially liked the murg methi. Customer service was also great !

The Lamb masala has too much ginger put into it. Also ordered tandoori naan but came as chapati. It was not well cooked. Very hard and blackened as showed in the picture below. We paid $27.00 for this dish. It’s not worth the money paid. I rather go else next time when I am ordering out. Total disappointment. To be frank, It’s sub standard.

We just moved to Tucson and spotted Tamarind right down the street. The food is amazing! The Dry Manchurian was recommended to us by the waiter, and it is one of the most incredible dishes I have EVER eaten. All the dishes can be adjusted from mild to very spicy so everyone can find their level of comfort (or pain!). If you haven’t tried Indian before or are having a tough time choosing between dishes, the lunch buffet is a good value with many options.

I’ve ordered and picked up takeout two times from this restaurant and the food is absolutely delicious. It’s very curious that the both times I’ve been there I was the Only customer there. I don’t know why. It’s reasonably priced and the decor is modern and warm plus the bar looks very inviting. The staff is very pleasant. The times I went we’re in the middle of the week. Maybe it gets busier on the weekends? Either way, I highly recommend this restaurant.

Came in for date night dinner because we’ve passed the place a few times and wanted to try it. The food absolutely blew us away. So delicious, beautifully presented, and perfect portions. We each ordered our own curry and shared a side of steamed rice and buttered naan bread. Our server was very helpful with recommendations and quick to refill our waters. Overall a wonderful experience and we will be eating here again, and next time we’ll bring friends!
