It had a nice ambience going on. A guy and a gal were singing popular Spanish songs. Service was above mediocre. They could improve the food quality of the food. Doesn’t have that flavor or authenticity.
Food is good, but the service is horrible. Our waitress made us feel as if we were bothering her when we asked for something. And as usual, everything took forever. When our food came, she reached across the table to give us our food instead of going around. I wonder if the owner reads these reviews.
This USED to be a nice restaurant, but definitely not anymore. We were seated, ordered our food and then we never saw the waitress again. No one at all checked on us, but the other tables around us were being served. We couldn’t even get a take out box or even our check. I will NEVER go back again. Sorry Taco Giro but you just lost two customers.
I ordered the chicken soup it was really good. I didn't like the rice that came with it, it was really bland. My husband had ordered the shrimp and beef fajitas but instead he got chicken and beef and one little shrimp. I tasted his and it was flavorful. I ordered a house margarita and was excited to get what I saw in the picture but instead I got a smaller looking jar not the one in the picture on the menu so I was bummed about that. Anyways I will be back for the soup!!!
Great place. Food was great and portions huge. Service was good, a couple minor mishaps but they were quickly rectified ( forgot tortillas for the fajitas, had to ask twice for to go containers) We will definitely go back!
Your average Mexican food place. They have a lot of colorful plates in the menu but in the end it’s just the same as everywhere. I tried the pozole and I’ll give it 6 out of 10. The flavor was too strong and I needed to use too much lemon juice to fix a bit. Location is very accessible and the place has plenty of parking. The size of the pozole plate for $12.99 was not bad.

We ordered the advertised special but told it was from days ago so no on the special.Ask the waitress how thick the steak was before we ordered them. They were half of what she said they were.We asked for medium well we received well done.Orders a large beer received a small.Had to ask for flatware.One person ask for corn tortillas and received nothing.I received tortillas I did order...Not going back. Ever!
A local recommended this restaurant. I got the lunch special.A taco and enchilada w beans and rice for $9.99. And draft dos exis draft beer.All was delicious...definitely worth the trip!
Everything here exceeded expectations! The menu options. The portion sizes. The service. And the taste! Quality authentic Mexican cuisine with a bit of a premium-ness to it. Not sure what to order? Try the El Giro plate. It’s got it all!
