I cannot say enough good things about Sydney's Sweet Shoppe! Best pies ever and sweet service as well. For my wedding, I knew I did not want cake as our dessert. After some research around Tucson, I found a few bakeries or cake bakers that also did pie, but this place is ALL PIE. And after trying one slice, it was really a no-brainer. We ordered the 3” mini pies for our wedding guests and my husband and I got our own to cut during the reception. They turned out amazing and our guests definitely went back for seconds.They are a family run business and you are always greeted with a warm smile when you walk in. Every flavor is incredible and always tastes so fresh. Even if you are not planning a wedding, do yourself a favor and just go pick up a slice or five. Because if you are like us, you will have a hard time deciding on just one.

My wife is GF and trying to find places close to us that make yummy tasting GF baked goods is hard. Got her the 4 pie combo deal for Valentines day and she fell in Love with your Bakery. She said they were the Best tasting GF pies she ever had and the crust was Devine, not like all the other GF crust that are typically hard or rubbery. Thanks for solving her sweet tooth craving.
Absolutely hands down best pie and it’s gluten free!!! If you can get gluten free anything to not taste like cardboard or get hard after being opened well sign me up. Sydney’s pies made me teary. It’s been awhile since I’ve eaten pie. If you are gf try her out you will not be disappointed! My family loves her regular pies too? Shop small and Buy Local! Our wedding was in the fall and we had sampled a couple of cake tastings in Tucson and we were never blown away or even completely satisfied. We decided to try mini individual pies. We reached out to Sydney to see if she if she catered weddings or not and she said yes and scheduled us a tasting right away. She stayed late and kept the shop open so we could taste in private. After one bite we looked at one another completely blown away. We ordered 150 assorted flavors: key lime, banana cream, apple, pumpkin, and pecan 3” pies for our wedding. Our guests were not limited with just 1 flavor. We had also asked Sydney to make our main wedding cake and she made us the BEST carrot cake we have ever had! Sydney also provided the fixtures, delivered, and set up on our special day. They were able to made our special day even more special. Everyone at the wedding kept saying how awesome the pies were and asked where we got them! We would recommend going to Sydney’s for any event but especially your big day!

Incomplete latticework, the pies tasted of nothing but sugar. Not only that but management was horrific and it took 3 hours to get the pies ordered. After waiting in line for 2 hours and told it would only take another 30 minutes, an employee came out and offered us a refund or a free future pie if we wanted to receive a call from the manager. Like hell, we had already been waiting 2 hours might as well wait out the last 30 minutes and all. Took another hour... when we finally got to the end of the line it took another 5 minutes for 2 pies to be brought out. What a failure in managing. Absolutely no organization. The lady who came to ask for our name was coincidentally the same lady who offered for us to come back in the future. Like hell. When complaints were voiced she proceeded to call us liars and "hostile" (despite never once threatening her, cursing, or making any move to leave the car, no hand movements) and said she had offered for us to come back at a later time, park, and get our pies right away without waiting in line or a full refund. Which she never had. And yet a couple of people were allowed to just park,, walk right up to the back pick-up door where the "drive-thru" ended and got their pies in minutes without waiting in the line.. Not only that, but we had already made arrangements to pick up our pies at a designated time, which was not honored. The only available option was drive-thru to pick up our pies upon arrival despite their website having said otherwise, and we had specifically chosen a walk-in pickup. She yelled at us, continued to insist we were hostile and calling us liars, and was very rude and insulting us before I managed to fully roll up the window after receiving our pies. I would never recommend this shop. Overpriced for a bag of sugar, and shoddily made. Very rude, no customer service.

Best pies I have ever eaten. That was the family's review, in between bites and sighs of contentment. Though we had to wait in an interminable to pick up our Thanksgiving order, we were all happy. The pecan pie was chewy and gooey and crunchy with nuts. The vegan cherry pie had just the right mix of sweet and tart, full of fruit in atasty flaky crust. Can't wait to try the other pies!
