Uni was colorless, in small pieces and tasted poorly. Scallop was chopped into small pieces and had no flavor. Fatty tuna was white with very light pieces of meat. I don't recommend this place for avid sushi eaters. Clam was tasteless. Note: I ate a few pieces before taking the picture.
This small family-owned restaurant has been a favorite of mine since moving to Tucson 20 years ago, and hardly needs another stellar review. Nevertheless, after trying numerous other sushi joints here, I always come back to Sushi on Oracle. The fish is consistently fresh and delicious, the service is pleasant and attentive, and the atmosphere is cozy. Lunchtime can be busy or slow, but dinner is always busy; you may have to wait a bit, but it’s definitely worth it.
Small and unassuming, but make no mistakes, this is a world class sushi restaurant. Maybe the best sushi in the entire southwest. Every piece of fish I've ever had here has been top quality and they have incredible seasonal and special offerings like toro, black snapper, salmon belly and fresh grated real wasabi. Things that can be hard to find in large cities.
One of the best sushi restaurants I’ve ever been to in my life. The food is solidly delicious, staff was courteous without being overly saccharine, and their choice of craft and imported beers is very fun. I will be back again and again!
We had a fantastic experience here. The service was friendly and attentive, the quality of the sushi was outstanding, the miso soup was great, the rolls were standard but totally delicious and they had a great drink selection. Can't wait to go back here!
This is a very small restaurant with about 10 tables inside and a couple outside. It is in a strip mall and parking can be challenging. We arrived about 5 PM on a Friday and waited about 15 minutes. The kitchen was very busy with takeout orders as well as dine in. Service was good when ordering but it was hard to get the wait staff’s attention once the food was delivered. Our food arrived in a timely manner despite being busy. Overall, the food is very good. The tuna tataki had brown edges, which was not visually appealing, but it tasted fine. The seaweed salad was a little unusual as it was served on top of a small salad. We also ordered the California roll, Eel roll, Caterpillar roll, Spicy Scallop roll, and Shrimp Tempura roll all of which were pretty typical. We were return again but preferably at a less hectic time since it can feel a bit claustrophobic.

They don’t have a huge selection, but there is good variety and the food is pretty good. The portions aren’t huge either, but they’re enough. It’s a small restaurant, but there is some outdoor seating and they’ll do take out as well. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in that part of town.
