Some of the freshest Sushi in Tucson. No one sits at the sushi bar, but service was great and price was normal for sushi . If you go on a weekend go early and don't dawdle. We got there at 6 and when we left at 7:30 there was a line out the door & lobby was full.
Great food, nice people but they won’t let you come in and eat within 30+min of closing. Plan your trip to this restaurant accordingly. They did allow us to sit in the lobby and order takeout, but flat out rejected others that came after we arrived. Living in Tucson for nearly 30 years I have never seen this at a any other restaurant.
We had a couple favorite sushi places in the town we used to live in and we're struggling to find a good place in Tucson until now. The sushi was delicious and reasonably priced. The service was fine--nothing to write home about but no major issues either. We will be back.
Been a few years since we've been here and it's gone way downhill. We did all you can eat so between us had a lot and it was all pretty bland, all tasting kind of the same. (Or maybe what's good simply isn't on the all you can eat menu???) Service was iffy and prices quite high. Also when all the adults got their food and 5 yr old niece was waiting for hers, I cut one of my maybe 3" pieces of chicken in half for her...and was immediately reprimanded because she didn't have all you can eat. (No kids option for all you can eat like other places have.) Definitely WAY better options in Tucson for sushi.
Absolutely delish I love their California roll it's the best I've ever had in tucson
Shame on this place taking food away from a 2 year old because her parents didn’t pay for her to an all you can meal , how is a 2 year old going to eat $32 worth of anything. And to ruin her moms birthday dinner and make my grand daughter cry when her food had to be taken from her is way beyond comprehensible. I know we will never go somewhere that treats anyone, let alone a child like this! Really it’s not even a 1 but that’s the only way I could post this
The food came out great. The plate looked fantastic and the cuts were really good. We came in for lunch week day, service was choppy but everyone did come in at the same time. Still our meal came out fast and with no disruptions.
Food was good. Not bad quality and the food came out pretty quick. Just a warning though, they limit how much tuna (1 order) and salmon (5 orders) you can order for the all you can eat menu, which is already more expensive than other's in the city. I get it. They're the most used fish for rolls too, but we were taken by surprised as that hasn't been the case for other AYCE places we've been to. Additionally, I ordered agedashi tofu, which was listed on the menu to come with Bonito flakes and grated Daikin radish. They even had a photo of the topping. What I received, however, was just the fried tofu. When I asked about the toppings, I was told that it doesn't come with either. When I said the menu didn't reflect that the server said she had never seen it come with anything before and confirmed the same with another server. When I asked if I could just get them on the side, they admitted that they didn't know what either were but could get me green onion if I really wanted. Overall, we finished our food but left not overly impressed.
A year ago this place was great. Not anymore. Sushi fell apart . Rice wasn't cooked all the way. Service was bearable. She refused to accept all ya can eat ticket because of one extra item marked, on ticket ya couldn't even read had a limit!. And on top of this charged over $200 for all ya can eat (3), shrimp tempura, and one kids meal.
Not much to say. The food is fine. Service could've been better (our server was very distracted), but didn't ruin the experience. The prices are fair. If it's your neighborhood spot, I get going there. If you're looking for a spot, you'll try it and probably keep looking.
