Extremely expensive for what you get. The photo reflects a half portion of biscuits and gravy. This plate is tiny, the biscuit was in need of more gravy, I mentioned as we left and was told I should have said something. I would be embarrassed to bring this to the table, it was their responsibility to serve decent food. $4.99 each, so what you see in the photo was $9.98ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Coffee was $2.99 a cup. First and last time visiting this place. Help the local business, maybe they need customer a etiquette classes. I could go on, but I won't.
Very good breakfast place in Tucson! Went there on a Wednesday morning. Good service. Good was on point. No one in the party of 6 had a bad dish. Kids enjoyed their pancakes. The food was cooked well and definitely made to order. Funky fun atmosphere with a Tropical/Jimmy Buffett vibe!
Horrible experience!! I still have a rancid taste in my mouth! My daughter ordered a flamingo burger today and had two bites. I then asked to taste it and it smelled and tasted rancid!!! The inside of the burger was dark brown, you could tell it was old!! We told the waitress who offered us to replace it but I didn’t want to get another rancid burger so we opted for the pancakes. When we went to pay we asked if they would be switching the price of the burger for the pancakes and she told me no, that the burger was half eaten and that she ate all her fries. She didn’t even have fries!!!!! She had coleslaw which she did eat because she was starving at that’s all that she had when they took her plate back! We had cut the burger in half so she could eat it better and half was not even gone yet.
Sunny Daze Cafe is an Excellent place for good old down home cooking! Perfect place for family or for a couple of old friends getting together for a good meal and catching up. The food is Awesome! Prices are fair. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed...???
2/28/22 This was our first time back to Sunny's since early 2020. And we were not disappointed! Carla was our server and she was wonderful. The food was so yummy Mexican Huevos rancheros, Marks Big Breakfast and Skillet #2 is what our table ordered. And we were all in agreement with how good the food is! Thank you all so much. It's good to be back
If you go ask for Vicky. She is the best server. Cooks make your orders tasty, home cooked like. Can't say much for the cashier, she is a mean one. We enjoyed our meal though.

Bad recommendation on TA. Food was tasteless, had tacos and soup. Friendly staff but go elsewhere for food. Also had adverse reaction after eating here. Yuck.
We came in for a late breakfast, after a 15 minute wait, we had a nice waitress named Vicky service us. Delicious food great service. Until we went up to pay. We were helped by the cashier, she looked for Vicky to confront her about our bill, that was miscalculated, infront of us instead of pulling her aside. Vicky stated she would fix it, and the cashier just pulled it away and did it, rather than letting Vicky correct her mistake. I could see the frustration in both and didn't think to highly of how they treated Vicky. The cashiers and another waitress proceeded to laugh and giggle. Which probably made Vick embarrassed. This is Bulling. The Cashier needs to handle situations a little more professional and respectful by explaining and letting employees correct their own mistakes. Not treating them like that. it's very degrading and inconsiderate. This was upsetting and uncalled for. Vicky is an asset to Sunny Daze and should be treat as such.
Found this restaurant when going through town; great food and great service!
