Tasty tacos al pastor and tacos with calabacitas. Nice atmosphere and courtyard to sit, relax and enjoy food. There is always a line to order your food but it moves fast.
My family came to Tucson from Sonora in the 1860’s. I know, love and appreciate great Mexican food. I have eaten it in Tucson all my life. I also aspirate great service. Poor customer service can kill a restaurant. It does not matter how amazing the food is, if the service is bad, they won’t make it. Today we ordered two lunches and it took forever for one to arrive. The second never arrived. We inquired as to why our never arrived and we were told it was accidentally delivered to the wrong table. By now the first meal was eaten and we were still waiting for the second one. It still never arrived. We inquired again and were told by Gavin that they refunded that meal. We asked for a receipt showing the refund and Gavin became enraged. Gavin never bothered to let us know the meal was never coming. The Gavin, who was the cashier who took our order then became snippy with us because he didn’t like that we were not happy that our meal never arrived with no explanation. We were never refunded the full amount we paid for what ended up being half a lunch. DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!!! On the way out, customers who heard the Gavin’s vicious attitude and nasty demeanor let us know that the restaurant was 100% wrong in their service (lack thereof) to us and his attitude. Even the table who received our order accidentally was furious at how Having treated us. They were as disturbed by him as we were. You need decent employees. We used to be regular customers. Never again!!!!
Our tacos were out of this world! Freshly made with fresh organic ingredients. No doubt this place can rival the quality of the best restaurants in Mexico! Super recommend, a MUST stop in Tucson!
Beautiful courtyard. I ordered some seafood and meat tacos, they were delicious. The waitress was very polite and friendly. Service was excellent.
My husband and I stumbled upon this little kitchen after getting morning coffee around the corner. This cute spot is tucked away from typical downtown noise and crowding. We tried the birria and carne asada breakfast burritos. The meat was plenty flavorful and tender. Seating is all outdoors, they have misters to relieve some of the heat. 4 stars for quality food and affordable pricing for the amount of food. We paid around $8 per burrito. Around 9:30/10am spot had a good amount of people, but not a long wait to order/be seated. Food took approximately 30-40m from kitchen to table. Plenty of room to walk around with little ones if you have them.
A friend told me about this place, and as we drove to it I realized I had never been in this particular area my entire time in Tucson. It was a Sunday at 11A and there was of course a line. For other Seis newbies like me, you stand in line and order at a window -- they assign you a table where you go sit and wait for your food. The menu has a lot of delicious items on it -- of course I went with the Chilaquiles and the hubs went for the Migas. I would say there were about 8 groups/people in front of us. The line seemed to kind of go slow for this type of set up as we were in line for no less than 20 minutes. We ordered and sat at our assigned table with the most delicious freshly made pineapple/cucumber Agua Fresca. Our table and my seat were facing Estrella Bakery so of course I was forced to go in there and buy some delicious baked goods. We waited for our food about 15 minutes tops? Not too bad, the food was tasty, my Chilaquiles were okay but pretty dry and crispy. Don't get me wrong we enjoyed the food but were not blown away, I would come back for sure to try something else... my husband not so much.
Good food, good service. Such a fun and cool environment. Seating is all outdoors. Could use more tables though there’s so much empty space and the whole time we were there there were probably 20-30 people in line consistently, so get ready to wait. Food took about 40 minutes to come. There’s some close little shops right around the restaurant. Meals were around $15
This place typically has a long line and for a good reason. The food is simple and delicious. Nothing pretentious here! Just amazing, hand crafted Mexican food built with love and passion!
In a city of great tacos, Seis Kitchen delivers. Set in a beautiful courtyard, this restaurant offers amazing Mexican food. We had flautas and tacos al pastor - both were excellent. We are also a fan of their pineapple and cucumber agua fresca.
Amazing tacos. You can mix and match any of their selections. The loaded nachos were heavenly. The meat on top is sweet and savory. Especially recommend the pineapple cucumber juice!!! The smashed beans and the cilantro rice and both fantastic!!
