I've been three times, and each one was different. The atmosphere, the service, and the food! 1st time, sitting outside at dusk eating feta and olives pita and hummus...with Greek tea! 2nd time, we had gyros...best pita ever, tasty sauce, loved the meat! 3rd time...middle of the afternoon, wandered in for the octopus...loved it! Several Greek customers chatting...I love this place..the cafe's owner is jovial and I was reminded of being in Athens. Tucson's lucky...
We were only in Tucson for 4 days and we ate here twice! We are in in the food industry so let me just say we recognize when it’s getting done right. This place does it right. It’s not pretentious at all, clean and kept simple, we tried a decent chunk of the menu and all of it was AMAZING. The service was also outstanding. You order at the counter but the young lady working still went out of her way to check on us multiple times. She was super friendly and great at multi tasking. When we were in she had a steady stream of people dining in and taking carryout. I wish I could hire her at our place in Michigan?
this place is a must try . I go here often with my family. try the deserts too! The owner is very friendly . Definitely the best in Tucson !
Went to Santorini Greek Cafe for dinner. I ordered the Dollmathes($15.00), which is ground beef, rice rolled in grape leaves with salad and fries. It was so tasty, large portion and freshly made. Another ordered the Beef & Lamb Gyro Plate($15.00) which came with salad and fries. It too was vert tasty and large portions. You order at the counter and they bring out the meal. Service was very friendly.
Fabulous authentic Greek food…… just like my husbands Yia Yia used to make! You’ve got to try out this place. The pastichio was the best I have had in years!
Delicious food, very authentic. lovely staff as well.
This place is awesome ! From the very friendly owner to the falafel wraps. A very special feta cheese dish to homemade lemonade. Special homemade deserts .....even try some Greek mountain tea! Look that one up .... not typical at all . Too many things to recommend !! We go often and will continue to do so .
The food here is great. We had gyros, salads, and fries as well as Greek fries and they were all great. Definitely worth the short wait. We will definitely be back here!
Made from frozen falafel. Sold out of "traditional" gyros by 530pm leaving only the "American" version. One cook. One waitstaff. 13 customers while we were there making for quite a wait.
Best pita bread and hummus I've had in a long time!! Better than homemade even!! They also have delicious gyros that aren't too greasy and fatty like other places in Tucson. The flavors here are amazing you won't regret going
