This was my first time going to this place after a long trip. Right away they treated us with a big smile and complimenting my husbands parking skills on a tight spot! We got our food in about 15 minutes! It was delicious and to top it off one of the beautiful ladies there gave my toddler a free cookie. I loved the personality each lady had and how respectful and attentive they were to our needs. Definitely coming back!!!
Met Rocco the owner and he was extraordinary! He has really worked hard to offer customers the best dining service experience. His counter help Nick was right on it! He has great knowledge of both local and imported wines.Jennifer was an excellent server, her skills were definitely all about customer service! She was on top of my needs but not over bearing. The food is amazingly delicious. I had the wings and a small pepperoni, mushroom and pineapple pizza. It could have fed two! Oh the wings were scrumptious; crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside with a good amount of spice.I definitely recommend this place. You'll have an amazing dining atmosphere and will enjoy the food equally. These are made to order dishes so be prepared to wait a little longer.Reservations are encouraged because this place packs up.
Having eaten at all the historic pizza places in Chicago, I can safely say that Rocco's absolutely holds its own with the most authentic of deep dish pizzas. Their crust was able to hold a mountain of cheese, sauce, and meat while still retaining a soft and airy texture and chew. Worth the wait on the sidewalk to get inside.
We went for pizza and delighted at the wings and surprise Italian Beef, dipped and loaded with classic hot peppers (giardiniera). We also enjoyed the cookies which we took home. Our family favorite is the classic tavern-style, thin-crust cut in squares. We kept it simple with 1/2 sausage and 1/2 pepperoni. When the meat is under the cheese and on top of crust and sauce you know it is the real deal. Wish I was not just in town to see family, hands down one of the best “home” meals since moving from the Chicago burbs 10 years ago to Arkansas.
Very clean and nice little place. They have outdoor seating also.. The food is pretty good, I wouldn't say outstanding but good and the prices are good. The staff is very friendly and the service is quick.. I would definitely eat there again!
Must stop while in Tucson near Reid Park! Excellent customer service, delicious salad and pizza. Quaint outdoor patio and nice warm welcome. Highly recommend.
This place is great! The pizza was delicious and their wings just might be the best I've ever had. Amazing! After looking at some reviews, I noticed that people were talking about their Green River & Vodka drinks. I ordered one and loved it!The staff was very busy, but friendly and real with me. The restaurant atmosphere is warm and inviting. There's also a nice outdoor covered patio dining area.Note: If you try to order online, brace yourself for failure and disappointment. It happened to me and the manager apologized about it. A lot of wasted time.
Tried for the first time yesterday and wow, I really am floored by how delicious this pizza is. It’s hands down the best pizza I’ve ever in Tucson and a top 3 for my entire life. It is seriously amazing. The quality of the veggies, cheese, crust, sauce…just phenomenal. The price is a bit high but once I took my first bite, I understood why. Please don’t a change a thing, this pie is perfect!
Awesome! Hit the spot! After moving out here to Arizona I was wondering if I would be able to find pizza like back home. A friend at work recommend Rocco’s and they met all of my exception’s! The Antipasto Salad was wonderful too! ?They have a truly great product!?
Amazing food. Had the fried ravioli, chicken wings and thin crust pizza all delicious. Great service too.
