My wife and I went for our anniversary. The staff were excellent, the food perfect, and our 19th anniversary a success. We will definitely be back a lot sooner than a year from now. Already making plans to be back for our sons birthday.
Everything great. Our server was outstanding. will always ask for her when we go.
The hostess was not very friendly. The Prime rib has been better in past visits. The sides were very good, but we missed the baked potato. Our servers and main waitress were extraordinary which elevated the experience.
I'm a regular guest at PY. The majority of the serving staff was new to me. I recognized only one young lady. I assumed the new staff was still a bit inexperienced. After I ordered, my salad came before anything else. I had to ask for bread before I started my salad. The bread finally came along with the amuse-bouche, which should have come before the salad. My main was superb! Unfortunately I couldn't finish all of it and asked to take the remainder with me along with what was left of the bread. The package was brought to me while I waited for coffee and dessert, sorbet, which seemed to take longer than usual. A second cup of coffee was brought without my asking. Usually one cup is enough so the second was wasted. There didn't seem to be any communication between my server and the young man assisting her. I left with the package of what remained of my meal and noticed some leakage. The containers had been put on their sides rather than flat in the bag so any juices from my main leaked out. I was already in my room when I noticed otherwise I would have returned and asked that it be re-bagged. I realize new staff needs a certain amount of time to orient themselves to a new job. I hope this helps in their orientation and when I return things will be different. I will still recommend PY to anyone I see or talk to.
Party of 4, seated 2 in 1 room and 2 in another. Prime rib was so tough you couldn't chew it. Vegetables were served in single serving ramacins but were told they were for 2 people. We had a gift certificates from py but were refused as payment. Service was good, desert was exceptional. Will never ever go back and we live close by! Highly do NOT recommend
