Not a bad place for after work drinks and happy hour. Typical sports type bar, and the wait staff is nice.

I used to love this place but every visit has been more disappointing than the one before it. Service is slow and food is mostly overpriced for what you get. Ordered the breaded chicken sandwich and got a frozen Tyson patty half the size of the buns. Just bad.
A Favorite bar in Tucson. Staff is phenomenal and post-haste with their duties. Atmosphere...a sporting good dive, the prevailing patrons offer open arms and dribbled stories. The menu has something for every occasion and is appeasing to the taste buds. The cocktails are free pour, the drafts as cold as your ex's heart...Not to mention there is a cheerful veranda for those that indulge in tobaccos. Highly recommend.
Extremely crowded, overly loud with limited sitting. They utilized the space well with two bars in the main room. There couldve been some type of consideration or perhaps small discount for the fact there wasn't enough sitting for the volume of people and how tightly knit it was that had us shuffling around.. Poor mannerisms in customer service and consideration of the customer. Definitely a rowdy place to go with friends or family for a party night out. My biggest compliant was the taco salad I ordered. The shell was overly huge and not stable enough to support the salad and that's what it was...a salad in a taco shell. Over portioned lettuce with just black beans and Pico de Gallo. There was no cheese, sour cream and or any elements that tasted or felt like a taco salad. It came out as simply a dry chicken salad in a taco shell. Do not order. Fried zucchini is generous if you like frozen foods flash fried. The amount of drunk people made it the most entertaining factor to watch including the unsanitary karaoke guy who would eat, wipe his nose then hand over the mic to some drunk fool to embarrass themselves.
Good luck getting service when they’re busy. Sat next to a bar full of empty glasses for 40 minutes without ever even getting eye contact. Maybe it will work out for you if you yell for attention.
Great wings! I ordered via phone, wings ready when I arrive about 12 minutes later. Big wings, spicy Thai Chili sauce, tender and done to perfection. I will definitely be ordering wings from Putney's again!!
Food is great. Servers are ok. Price is Medium. Atmosphere is good if you enjoy sports.
