We made a reservation through Open Table prior to our stay at the hotel. We arrived a few minutes before and took our seat right at our reservation time. We sat for about 10-minutes before we were greeted by one of the staff who brought water. 10-minutes after that, our server came and greeted us. At that point, we had been sitting for 20-minutes. The server was nice - provided background info on Primo (garden outside, scratch kitchen). He seemed a bit surprised we were ready to order. I asked if they still served the gnocchi, because it was on their menu that was on their website - but not on the menu we received when we sat down. The gnocchi was a reason we decided to come to this restaurant. He said, âno, the gnocchi is not on the menu.â (Maybe keep your website updated or keep items on hand to honor a guestâs request if it comes up? This is a major Arizona resort.) Before our server walked away, he told us he would âget some bread to your table right away!â About 10-minutes later, the bread came. He did show up a few minutes after that with a complimentary plate of fig bites - 3 of them - one for each person in our party. These were ok. Refreshing but probably better as a dessert item. To be honest, the meal was not that great. The pasta lacked flavor. I wanted to ask for salt but figured it would take awhile to get to the table and Iâd be done eating by the time it arrived. My sister ordered the lobster and said, âit didnât blow me away.â (For resort dining, we were hoping to be blown away.) My mom had the pizza and said it was âgood but not great.â Overall - our server was nice, but service was slow. Possibly a result of short staffing, so we didnât complain. The meal was the real downer - just not a great meal considering we spent over $100 on just the entrees alone. Next time, weâll go somewhere else.
Another great night. Thanks Blake and crew.
Great waiter. Noisy kids unfortunately next table over
A great experience from start to finish. Outstanding service matched by a delicious meal. Great flavors!
Just delicious.
One of the best restaurants in Tucson. Excellent service and a variety of menu options.
Husbandâs birthday
Service was very slow and food was subpar for the price.
Was our first time and its really good and great service!
The Saltimbocca was excellent - best I have ever had. Also really good was the charred ocotopus and bruschetta (enjoyed the brie, fig, arugula and also the pesto, prosciutto, peppadew). Melissa Kelly must be there over 10 years now and has never disappointed us!
