I went to my local Pei Wei (5/1/22) and picked up my online order in which I was excited about trying the new "Mongolian Chicken Nachos" for the first time. I also ordered Mongolian green beans which I've ordered several times before.I got my order home and the Mongolian Chicken Nachos were extremely salty, now I like a little seasoning but that was way too much! I should've taken it back but it was a hot day here and didn't want to drive again, my 2nd order was the Mongolian green beans and they had way too much pepper sauce! (or whatever you call it) it covered the bottom of the dish and was saturated over the beans.I didn't think to take a photo but I wouldn't make that up! I very much like Pei Wei and will continue to be a customer but will not order the Mongolian Chicken Nachos again and probably not the green beans either. Please use a lighter hand on the salt and the sauce I've the green beans.Thank youMarty
Great food, staff and a good value!
Its not really a restaurant. But more like a fast food place.
un lugar tranquilo y muy buena la comida ??
Much better than Panda Express. Each portion is cooked separately. The cookers here do a great job. Quantity is not huge but is sufficient. The price is cheap. Service is great.
pre-pandemic: as a long time pei wei patron, i had stopped eating-out during quarantine. i ate pei wei for the first time in 2 years, and it was absolutely terrible. the veggies were minimal and near rotten. the tofu, which used to be great, has been replaced by the deep fried flavorless variety. this “food” was so bad, i’m done.on top of this, pei wei has increased the price of this plate by $3! pei wei will never take my money again.
Refuses uber eats orders. 0 stars. Get with the times. The age of dine in is largely over.
Enjoyed my food. The young lady assistant was most helpful. A easy place to eat dinner on way home from work. Right by U of A.
This Pei Wei was my favorite in town. I hadn’t been back since they re-opened after the Pandemic, and I’m so disappointed. Seems like they have changed a lot of things, including their food supplies. The rice is different, the chicken is different and not in a good way. I ordered some crab wontons and had to literally spit it out after the first bite because it was so bad. The only thing I liked from my order was my soda and fortune cookie.
