We went for a "Girls Only" afternoon and enjoyed a wonderful, informative wine tasting. Pretty grounds and vineyard nicely kept. Alessia, the sommelier, was friendly and engaging with all the customers. ALL the wines we tasted were deliciously fresh, AND even better they were sulfite free. ( one person in our party is very allergic) Definitely would recommend and return when back to Tucson. #oldpueblocellars
Such beautiful scenery. This is a new winery that has a very unique style of wine. One unlike anything I've tried. The girl from Italy and her husband that work here are such fun and very sweet people. We bought the Syrah and a white wine that is unfiltered and so unique. Worth the visit. Great place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine and take in all the beauty.
We had a great time at Old Pueblo Cellars! We went at 2 pm on a Sunday. The grounds are beautiful- comfortable but also quiet and there are a lot of little nooks to hang out in. We had three adults and my toddler son with us, and were able to sit outside and enjoy our tasting in a shaded porch seating area. The wine selection was good and our hosts were very friendly. I found the prices to be extremely reasonable. Afterwards we were able to go pet the mules on the farm (and I’m not sure who loved it more, my son or me!) I joined as a member and will definitely be returning.
We went for a wine tasting on a recommendation of a neighbor and because this place is close to where we live. Wow, just wow! It was so much more than we expected. The grounds are beautiful. The service was friendly and engaging. I'm not a wine enthusiast, but these wines could change that! They were the best I've tasted. We will return and take others with us!
This is a lovely boutique winery with 6 delicious wines and a gracious owner. Visiting from out of town, we unknowingly showed up to a fully booked tasting, but the owner kindly made room for us, which we truly appreciate. Our tasting took place on the porch which overlooks the beautiful xeriscaped garden and vineyard. Thank you for a memorable afternoon and a lovely bottle of Viognier.
Allessia was super personable and knowledgeable. The wines were amazing--loved almost every single one. Great atmosphere and a fun night out with friends. The patio was perfect!
Came in from out of town not knowing that you needed an reservation. They were super accommodating and squeezed us in with no problem. Wine is so smooth and delicious and the property is beautiful. Would highly recommend to stop in.
Heard about old Pueblo cellar wine tasting room from someone at our hotel. They gave it rave reviews so my friends & I decided to try it out. Old Pueblo cellar is n of Tucson & isn’t hard to find with a GPS. The tasting room is newer for the winery - been open around 9 months (if I understood correctly). You’re served 6 different wine varieties - Viognier, Malvasia, Sangiovese, Malbec, Petite Sirah, & Tempranillo for $12. A very nice young lady from Italy was our host. They have a cool label with a cactus. 3 of the group bought some to take home. We will go back when in the area & recommend to others. Enjoy!
It was Awesome! Just beautiful, it's the only vineyard set among the Saguaro cactus, up on Dove Mt. near Tucson. I rarely drink but the natural, unfiltered wine tasting was quite delicious!
They so kindly accepted us as walk ins at the last minute. Everyone was so kind and it is beautiful there! We had the charcuterie board and a wine tasting for each person.
