Food has become terrible...Last two times I ordered a carne asada burrito. Not sure what kind of beef they are serving, but it is not carne asada. Since COVID the quality has gone down, like many places. It is unfortunate.
Last time I can to this location was about a year ago. I stopped by today and remembered why I stopped coming here. Staff is good. But the cook doesn’t know how to cook. I got some super fires with carnitas but instead got super fries with charcoal and burnt chicharrones. Paid 20 dollar for something not even edible. Also paid extra for extra for extra carnita and guacamole which they didn’t include . I’m just going to stick driving and extra 15 minutes to go to the one in marana.
Some staff are very unprofessional, a guy taking our order was having a conversation with cooks cursing like no customer was there or assumed because I was White I didn’t understand both were wrong. then we got home and our taco salads didn’t have any lettuce probably due to them not paying attention to what they were making. Won’t be back.
Meh! Not the best tacos or burritos here and they charge for everything even lettuce and tomatoes so if you dont spend the extra coin then you will just have meat and bread

Always have loved Nico's. Their 3 salsas are all spicy. The portions are large but not as large as they used to be. Everything has gone up a little in price due to inflation, but it's still a good deal.
Pretty good food, good price for what you get. Love the breakfast burritos.
At first I did not like this location because of their guacamole. It tasted like it was out for hours and that’s what they served me. My third time coming here giving them a third chance I was hooked. I always get a chicken quesadilla with guacamole and sour cream with salsa verde (green salsa). It is always amazing with every bite with the green salsa and dipped in guacamole and sour cream. Staff is friendly with me as I always make it easy for them and ordering is easy for me too. I always dine at this location. The lobby is always clean is made sure that it is clean thanks to the staff in this location. This is all of course my experience so everyone’s is different. Bathrooms however is only reserved for customers. This is no problem for me but just throwing it out there.
I purchased bean and a carne asada burros. Kind of expensive, about $20. They were excellent but the price concerns me.
They used to be much better. There menu is half what it used to be years ago, and the portions are smaller. I prefer Los Beto or Filaberto more.
